This feels like a lot of lipservice to me considering that Firefox was all in on promoting AI in their browser and enabling it all by default. How about Mark Surman and the rest of the board step down after showing everyone how braindead and corrupt they are?

Until all ai features are conpletely removed, im not returning. Having "optional" ai in your product is like having "some" shit in your soup.

Look, I know all the reasons we got here, but we really need to start seriously thinking about what we do in a world where The Markets punish whole countries for voting for decency, compassion, and fairness. We must stop pretending the capitalist machine is an objective, value neutral force.
