I flipped to a different, higher-quality stream that had Australian commentators this time and the announcer said of Alcaraz, "Flood the court and see if he can walk on water." Which I thought was a pretty badass line.
I'm watching a stream of this tennis match and the British commentator just referred to sports as "sport." Absolutely disgusting.

A lot of games tell you that you need to fight for peace, but never actually show you what you're killing for. Assassin's Creed Shadows is the rare game that does, with a serene approach to open-world design that makes the stakes clear. My review. www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/assas...

REVIEW: Assassin's Creed Shadows is very good, but surprisingly slow. It can be off-putting at first, but once I got into the groove of its meditative pace, I had a great time ACS is a smart iteration of the format started with Origins, and one of the series' best www.gamefile.news/p/47-hours-w...

We're doing these racists a big favor when we pretend their project is in any way based on actual grievance with modern DEI policy. They just want to promote the belief that no non-white person has ever been worthy of any praise or qualified for any honor or position
This is blood-boiling. Charles Rogers was awarded the Medal of Honor in Vietnam after being wounded three times leading the defense of a position. Google his name and the entry below comes up. When you click, you'll see the page has been deleted and the URL changed to include "DEI medal."

Elon Musk says that no one has died because he slashed humanitarian aid. I went to South Sudan to check if that's true. It's not. Meet Peter, Achol and Evan, ages 10, 8 and 5. The reckless actions of the world's richest men are killing the world's poorest kids www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

After watching the second episode of Celtics City, I bought and read a copy of Bill Russell’s first memoir and wrote this piece on how the absence of anything resembling his voice is felt in today’s NBA, and throughout the country: www.theringer.com/2025/03/11/n...
