Today marks 15 years since Gabby Giffords was shot at a constituent meeting, in an attack that killed 6 and wounded 13. I am proud to cosponsor a bipartisan, bicameral resolution to honor the victims and their families today, and recommit to ending gun and political violence.

I’m running for Congress in NY-12, my home. We have a demented, criminal president running the country like a mob operation—government by the boss, for the boss. We need Democratic fighters who will defend the rule of law and deliver government by the people. Join us.

"So far, the merger of Silicon Valley & MAGA has worked out great for the industry; they’ve showered Trump w/contributions, made him feel important & special, & in return have gotten almost everything they want from DC. But this is an alliance they will come to regret." — @paulwaldman.bsky.social

In March, the American government deported more than 200 Venezuelan men from the U.S. to a maximum-security prison in El Salvador. The New York Times interviewed 40 of the men who were imprisoned. They described being beaten, sexually assaulted by guards and driven to the brink of suicide.

Didn’t the Dem plan originally envision single payer universal healthcare? This seems more to me like an invitation to health insurance companies to come to the Oval Office and grovel, maybe slip him and his family a few bucks, and maybe fund the building of his Trump Arch.
