Game Preview #5: Wolves vs Warriors Thread Minnesota looks to continue on its quest for 81-1 on a back-to-back in Cleveland. @matthewharren17.bsky.social prepares for the bounce back ⤵️ www.canishoopus.com/timberwolves...

If it were March, it wouldn't surprise me if the decision would have been to let Edwards play through it. But with only four games down, the calculus is different. Get it done now so he can be clicking on all cylinders come the playoffs.

Can confirm Anthony Edwards will miss some time (believed to be 6-8 weeks) after an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee. Wolves believe they have the depth to stay on the winning side during Edwards' absence and see this as the most opportune time to address the issue

Whether Donte DiVincenzo or Anthony Edwards returns to action first will be an interesting storyline to follow over the next 6-8 weeks.

Several weeks feels very different than “up to” two months. Still waiting for team sources.

Anthony Edwards listed as questionable for tonight’s game in Cleveland

Happy Monday all! LaMelo Ball takes home his first Big Ticket Award of his career by going +33 in 17 minutes Lots of small-sample size stats to overact to, but the Wolves starting five having a 40.4 net rating (126 on offense, 85.5 on defense) is tops among them. The best starting 5 in the league!

LaMelo steal and lob to Jaden for the slam

Here are my Wolves takes of the night: LaMelo Ball is pretty damn good We can still play hella defense The bench is still exceedingly deep

Who needs a warm-up period? The Wolves are 3-0 with no signs of slowing down after a 20+ point win at home against the Raptors. @bigmeatyclaws.bsky.social has a recap and some stand-out performances from the increasingly fun (and increasingly good) Wolves 📈 www.canishoopus.com/timberwolves...

October 25, 1996: Kevin Garnett (25 PTS/8 REB) and rookie Stephon Marbury (18 PTS/7 AST) lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 116-115 preseason win over the Boston Celtics at the Worcester Centrum. Dino Radja had 22 PTS/9 REB and rookie Antoine Walker had 19 PTS for the Celtics.

LaMelo: "I'm too advanced for them."

Joan Beringer: "I love playing with Ayo. He’s like a big brother for me. He pushes me every time. When I don’t play well, he’s going to say, ‘Yeah, you, wake up. You have to wake up.’ I love this type of energy, push me when I’m not the best version of myself. I love that."

My favorite play of the night and encapsulation of why Ayo is so good: 1️⃣ Pushes in transition 2️⃣ Sees Beringer running hard 3️⃣ Rewards him w/ lookaway drop-off pass 4️⃣ Grady "PACK OF WOLVES!!!" call 🤌
