What shameful abuse of taxpayer money. As a school board, we were careful not to spend a single dime unless if benefitted the students and community. This clown used a taxpayer funded private jet to fly off to the Olympics! Former FBI director Chris Wray used paid time off to attend olympics.
ICYMI — The FBI director flew there on the taxpayer dime on a private jet to do this… Kash in 2023: “I’m just saying Chris Wray doesn’t need a government funded G5 jet to go to vacations. Maybe we ground that plane. $15,000 every time it takes off. Just a thought.”

1. DHS surges 3,000 officers to Minneapolis without doing anywhere near enough prep first. 2. Hundreds of habeas cases overwhelm local courts. 3. Dozens of DOJ lawyers quit in disgust/anger. 4. The DOJ brings in JAGs to cover. 5. A JAG was just held in contempt and fined $500/day for ICE's failures.

Since Beavercreek has one of the lowest levels of state support for public education in our region, a policy like this might actually reduce local property taxes by combining Beavercreek with districts that receive higher levels of state support.

On November 4th, our community decides whether to renew the levy that provides $18 million for our schools—funding that makes up 1 out of every 6 dollars in Beavercreek's operating budget.
Can we deliver a competitive, quality education with $3,900 less per student than the state average? I believe the answer is a resounding no. Our students and our community deserve better than just "scraping by." They deserve investment. They deserve excellence.
Please join me in voting YES on November 4th to protect our schools and secure Beavercreek's future. See the facts and figures at our website here: www.gocreek.org/page/levy

If this levy fails, we will be forced to cut $18 million. That translates to a loss of $2,200 per student.

Adjusted for inflation, the state of Ohio has cut $140 million from the #publicEducation budget over the last two decades. At the same time, they’ve required our schools to do more. The result is a $703 million increase in local #taxes to cover the state shortfall and increased costs.

Local school districts face more cuts from multiple bills proposed by state legislature "It makes no sense for the state to yank property tax revenue from school districts without having a plan in place to keep schools funded" by Jan McLaughlin bgindependentmedia.org/local-school...
It's a problem when legislators tell educators what the conclusion of a study should be instead of just asking a subject to be taught. It would be inappropriate and dishonest to teach only positive impacts of any subject. Students deserve to learn both positives and negatives in any subject.

Changes to property tax law will have far reaching consequences for local municipalities and schools. The only credible way to cut local taxes is either to cut the quality of public education or improve state funding for public education. #PublicSchools www.journal-news.com/local/ohio-p...
