holy crap it finally printed. TH-BJD resin in this shade is a BITCH to print!!! I had to literally do half of theirs and half of my clear resin to get it to actually stick to the plate. jfc. And the pigment is so thick it's still really opaque despite having so much clear resin added.

I can't believe the cheaper, further away Ren faire we went to Saturday was way better than the more expensive, local one we got. Do not go to King Richards Faire. They fucking suck. Also AI slop signs everywhere at the "new" location. We went last year and it was very disappointing.

I'm going to shit. this dark brown choco skin colored bjd resin was $50 and I've already cut it with clear and bumped the first layer cure time to 90 seconds and only some of it, barely sticks to the plate. I have followed the print settings and they are not enough.

stuff like this takes the wind out of my sails and my spoons do not get gathered for trying to beat this into submission. all I can think of is that my two mars 2s just don't have strong enough UV despite me following the recommended settings on the bottle. like please y u fail so much???

I think one of the more expensive parts of making tiny dolls is getting the tiny magnets for their face plates and such. Amazon doesn't sell 2mm x 0.5mm magnets so I gotta go to eBay 🫠 and local online retailers who specialize cost way more lmao anyway, I needed them to restock Smol Chonky Foxes.

I'm going to miss the Halloween mark, but I want to make more candy corn colored ones. especially with the eye sockets fixed so the eyes can be adjusted easier. maybe some strawberry creme and hazelnut ones. if I can get this dark brown resin to freakin' stick to the plate!!!!!
