This is why I hate the “it has to be subtle!!!” Critique of queer media. The fact that we can’t just say what we are or what the character is is so reductive and constraining to so many queer writers. Don’t let cis people dictate how you show you identity. They don’t know what they’re saying.

Trans folks speaking out against the anti-trans triangulation of certain Dem politicians aren't "helping" the GOP. If those Dems loose it will be no ones fault but their own. You don't get to tell a community that you don't need them, and then blame them for not showing up for you.

Both of these are great trans characters btw. They're great for different reasons because they're doing different things because there's so many ways you can express being a trans person. More trans art pls. 🏳️‍⚧️
