One thing I can agree with Trish Purdy on.. I am so sick of these debates about bike lanes. It is just that we sit on opposite sides of that debate and because of that, they are likely to continue :(

The latest climate pledges put forth by nations will cut global greenhouse gas emissions just 6% by 2035, a UN report has said, weeks before COP31 talks in Turkey.

The biggest problem with flex posts is, they get installed in July and removed in Oct. for snow clearing. We only get safer streets for 4/12 of the year. We get snow 4/12 of the year and so 4/12 of the year are spent installing and removing flex posts. We need better, permanent protection!

There is a helicopter, that has been flying around at least since about 1pm. It goes by like every 10-15 minutes. Listening to the noise it makes, is getting real old.

I just noticed tonight, at least at about 8:30pm, that the Almon St. intersection with Connaught coming down the hill, is using detection again to skip lights in the Almon St. and it still doesn't' detect bikes. Want to cause a disruption while being perfectly legal?

In fact, to solve the problem, I did something illegal. I rode on the sidewalk to push the pedestrian button. So if I wanted to follow the rules of the road to the letter, I might be still sitting there waiting.
