I lost my job recently, and it's actually been an eye opener. AI sucked all the joy of programming out of me. Unless I land another tech job, I'm getting back to writing code by hand. I miss it. There will certainly times I'll use it, but not being forced to lean so heavy on Claude is great.

Happy 100th birthday to Mel Brooks! I hope he handles his midlife crisis with dignity.
