plenty of 'woke' media sells. CP77, BG3, etc. I'd consider myself relatively progressive, but even I can't bat for bioware's brand of phoned-in 'inclusivity' in good faith half their modern dialogue sounds like an HR 'be as performative as possible' mandate, the other like badly translated anime

we can blame corpo meddling & politics all we want, and they are at least partly responsible, but the fact is they just didn't make great games anymore, and mid doesn't sell and as funny as the go woke go broke crowd is, there is merit to their griefs with bioware specifically lmao
