I have reason to believe that the Pentagon is using UFO stories to dodge their obligations under the Endangered Species Act. In short, birds believed to be extinct might actually still exist in small numbers at White Sands Missile Range. By calling them drones or UAP, they can keep testing weapons.

He says typical cost for a pack swap like this is under $4000. It'll drive at least another 200k miles on that pack. The owner is getting much cheaper transportation than anyone gets with a combustion car, and it's still a reliable vehicle despite preparing to cross the half million mark!

The gas and suction system will never be approved for a street legal car. Tesla pulled this stunt to pump the stock, distract from being 6+ years late, and to blame regulators when they can't deliver on the original promises from 2017 (600 mile range, etc). It's a scam as usual.

There's really no reason why Semis can't get better fuel economy. Between things like this and electric trucks, the US can be a lot less dependent on volatile global markets.

Dwindling reservoirs aren't the result of "bad weather" or "natural cycles". They're a choice our society made. Growing thirsty crops like alfalfa and pecans in the desert is a choice. Refusing to reduce CO2 emissions is a choice. Refusing to change the water laws as reality changes is a choice.

There's a happy medium to be had on this. Screens can be good, but anything you need to operate while driving should have a physical button, stalk, or switch. When rolling, the screen should only be glanced at for navigation or seeing what's playing.

My son’s driver’s ed kept reiterating, no screens while driving. No phones. Don’t be distracted. We have a loaner car that has a giant iPad on the dashboard and you have to operate it as a touchscreen while the car is moving at least sometimes. We decided this was a good idea?
