Darick Oswalt | CHARM3R

I should probably create a pinned post to introduce myself here since so many folks are switching, so here it goes: I love TCGs, board games, tabletop RPGs, video games, esports, movies books, etc. But I ALSO love helping my marginalized homies and I won't be quiet about it. You've been warned.

I have been unavailable a bunch today so I didn't get to post about it earlier, but I had the privilege and the pleasure of revealing three new cards from Star Wars: Unlimited Icons 2027 today. It's on my personal YouTube. youtu.be/B9umvBcqqwA

Forgot to post after seeing it, but Wildwood was stunning. Just an absolutely beautiful film and a technical marvel created with love.

Stalking all day can be really tiring. #Halloween

2-1 at Pre-Rift on Ziggs. Lost to an Ekko due to double Empyrean. Was just too much might and I could only remove one. Was still a ton of fun though!

When my #Riftbound opponent at Nexus Night brings Orianna.

It's either this or it's a Death to Smoochy kind of movie.

I don't think the official account posts over here, but I'm casting the Riftbound #RQLA this weekend.

Almost three hours of pure @jjscott.nz and @charm3r.com nonsense! youtu.be/trjqAEy4huA?...

I know that none of the marketing shows it, but we all agree the movie Digger is secretly gonna be a musical right? It's giving big musical vibes.

Visy Visy Visy, can't you see? Sometimes your Runechants hypnotize me. And I just love your arcane ways. I guess that's why their dead and you're O P

I am going live on Twitch opening some Cyberpunk TCG packs from Kickstarter. Joining me is @theblevins.bsky.social hanging out in Discord as I look for hits. www.twitch.tv/CHARM3R

Okay so after Blevins suggested it, I'm going to live stream my openings on Twitch tomorrow while he hangs out to react. Hopefully we'll see you there!

So now the question is this: Do I live stream opening stuff on Twitch, or do I just do a video showing some of what I opened? I can always still upload the VoD to YouTube after... 🤔

Got the first wave of goodies from my #CyberpunkTCG Kickstarter order in the mail today. Talked with @theblevins.bsky.social and we've decided that we're going to use my personal YouTube channel as the home for the content, so it's time to fire it back up.

Ding dong the witch is dead!

You're damn right Duolingo.

Updated the Turn Em Sideways shop with new #Riftbound mats for Vendetta. We brought back @ijur.bsky.social with a stunning Mel & Ambessa design. We partnered with community member GlitchedGoober for a Riftbuds mat. We also finally have cloth mats. CHARM5 should give 5% off. shop.turnemsideways.gg

During the Galatic Championship we also hosted the Galatic Open as one of our first events to award Qualifying Points for Season 2! Check out the winning decklist piloted by Simon Harvey!

Been too busy to post much on socials, but my year-in-retrospect article just published so I want to call attention to it! One of the most important life heuristics I've embraced is asking "What did we learn?" after everything. Thus, an article: starwarsunlimited.com/articles/les... #FFGStaff

That post event depression hitting like a truck, y'all.

The #SWU Galactic Championship is in the books and I'm already counting the days to the next one. I want to offer a big "thank you" to all that players that made the event special. I also want to praise the amazing crew that brought the broadcast to life. True professionals.

Check out our Top 8 decklists from the Main Event! Did any cards or leaders surprise you?

🚨 PRINT RUN UPDATE 🚨 The Collector Center has been updated with new pages for MPG, PEN, and OMN. Print run data has also been added for EVO, HVY, MST, ROS, and HNT. See it here: buff.ly/1LGNGol Happy Collectors Week! 💎 #fabcw

They've got some of the peripherals releasing alongside Homeworlds on display here at the Galactic Championship.

Day one of the main event of the Star Wars: Unlimited Galactic Championship is moments away from beginning. I'll be giving away some stuff as I walk through the halls on break so be on the look out for Santa CHARM3R.

We are well underway on the first day of the Galactic Championship! What are you most excited to do at the event? Watch panels? Visit the artists? Play against our designers? Whatever it is, we can’t wait to see you! Not at the event? Follow along each day on YouTube: buff.ly/ar0i2IF

I missed my flight to the SWU Galactic Championship and had to get on a replacement flight which required a layover. Boarded for my last jump to Las Vegas. Less than five minutes cost me five hours but at least I'm gonna make it. 🫩

TOMORROW youtu.be/Mo_XFZeXw0Q #SWU #StarWarsUnlimited

Incredibly honored and excited to be returning for the 2026 Galactic Championship. I'm looking forward to seeing the splash that Ashes of the Empire makes for this event.

My favorite thing about living in Michigan is that I'm not built for heat. I'm glad I don't have to worry about extreme temperatures or wildfire smoke or anything crazy like that. Pictures unrelated.

Okay this should be the correct link!

We're live now but round one begins in roughly 35 minutes. Bans take effect Monday, so come watch a proper send off of the most recent #FaBTCG format.

Happy birthday to my best friend and greatest love @sophiao13.bsky.social It's an honor to grow old together.

We asked attendees at the Star Wars: Unlimited Regional Championship in Prague which aspect is their favorite!

One of the highlights for me was getting to meet tons of notable faces in the community, including @grenton.bsky.social and a few from @turnthemside.bsky.social Shoutouts to @charm3r.com and @silverfuse.bsky.social for chatting with me for so long and being some of my favs from the TESL days

With all the crossovers, MtG has become the Fortnite of TCGs. It's trying to be the "everything" game at your kitchen table in the way that Fortnite is in the digital realm.

I finally saw Obsession in theaters with Sophie and the film is really good. It should make anyone with a shred of empathy incredibly uncomfortable. The number of people in my theater that were laughing throughout genuinely has me worried though.

I'm seeing plenty of "Happy Pride Month" posts today (and rightfully so), but I would ALSO like to wish a very unhappy Pride Month to everyone that has a problem with Pride Month. I'm working on being a better hater.

Absolutely unhinged thought of the flight: I'm playing a deck tomorrow that I don't think is positioned well with the intention of doing content stuff after I scrub out, so I've set myself up for a situation where accidentally doing well could be problematic (and just my luck).

Boarding my flight for #RQVancouver and I'll be playing in the main event tomorrow. Might also be doing some giveaways tomorrow so stay tuned 👀

We've got @casanovacasts.bsky.social and @charm3r.com attending the Vancouver RQ! No official business, other than competing and being there for the ✨ vibes ✨. Be sure to say hi (and maybe offer a 'good luck') if you see them roaming about!

Ryan and I are always looking for ways to make cards synergize with cards that're slightly different than what you're used to. This is where the "non-unique Imperial" restriction came from—he can be very powerful, but only if you play units that otherwise wouldn't (probably) make decks #FFGStaff

Happy to finally share I'll be part of the coverage team for the #Riftbound Atlanta Regional Qualifier.

I had a great time playing and meeting folks!

If any of my #FaBtcg friends also happen to play #Riftbound I have something to share. Turn Em Sideways hired @ijur.bsky.social to make a custom Irelia mat and it's beautiful. They should be on sale now.
