It’s every DevRel’s dream to work with a world-class technical team, meet their heroes, and be part of an amazing community. I got to do all three every single day for nearly three years. With the Databricks acquisition, Neon begins a new chapter … and so do I.

I don’t know exactly what’s next, but I’m excited for the future. I’ll be taking some precious time to focus on family, ride my bike, and recharge. I’m leaving with a full heart, a huge sense of achievement, and a ton of optimism for whatever comes next.

In this presentation, I spoke about the scaling laws, autonomous agents, hyper-Moore’s law, the importance of energy and my views on how a country like Algeria can contribute to the AI revolution.

I can’t get enough of this view and am so lucky call this region home. I’m on my way to my home country Algeria 🇩🇿 to speak at the CTO Forum about “how to stay relevant in a world redefined by AI”, then off to NYC🗽for the AI Engineer Summit. Let me know if you want to meet 👋

One thing I don't mention enough about Neon is how talented our engineering team is. The company was built by Postgres hackers with open source in mind and continues to contribute upstream to Postgres, its ecosystem of extensions and poolers. ...

2024 is a wrap! I'm taking two weeks off to spend some time with my 🇩🇿 and 🇳🇴 families. I’m grateful for all the fantastic people I met this year in Geneva, Paris, Berlin, San Francisco, and other places around the world 🙌. I'm very excited about 2025, and I can't wait to see you all then.

Hey DevRel friends! 👋 Let me know if you’re looking to use Postgres for your projects. My friend Taraneh Dohmer can share up to 70$ worth of Neon resources per month all for free —DM me if interested, and feel free to refer other DevRels!

Bill a true SaaS hero. I had the pleasure to collaborate with Bill on a webinar a few months, and it’s so cool to finally meet him and discuss the next generation of SaaS. Can’t wait for our future collaborations.

Look who I found at ClickHouse’s booth. Ryadh Dahimene Ph.D and I go back almost 20 years when he and El Kindi Rezig competed at Imagine Cup in Algeria 🇩🇿. I would have never believed then that we would both be here, working for tech startups pushing the frontiers of OLTP and OLAP.
