At the ICE raid and subsequent community resistance in Paramount, California this morning, this skater kid ate dozens of munitions from Border Patrol agents, walked away slowly and flipped them off.

For all of you out there hating on California and wishing for its demise you might want to think again. On an annual basis California contributes far more in personal federal income tax than any other state, and even $100 million more per year than runner up New York.

CNN interviewed more than a dozen experts, and they said that no fire hydrants would have been able to stop the LA wildfires with the high winds. “I don’t know a water system in the world that is that prepared for this type of event,” said one expert.

NYPD Chief Joseph Kenny on the document found with the shooter: “it does seem that he has some ill will toward corporate America.” I don’t think the shooter is alone on this one.

Trump has agreed to turn the presidency over to Elon in exchange for Elon discharging all of Trumps debts. No need to hawk bibles and shoes when you have a broligarch sugar daddy. And Trump doesn’t want to do the actual work of wrecking the country so will happily let Elon do it.

No one should cheer the murder of United Health Care’s CEO (or anybody else), but it doesn’t mean we’re required to mourn his loss. That man represented a company founded entirely on theft and the destruction of so many lives—the business plan is to keep insurance premium payments and deny coverage.

Trumpism didn’t just fall out of the sky. It’s an offshoot of the Republican party. I’m 64 and have watched Republicans try to prevent passage of civil rights, equal rights, abortion rights, gay rights, poverty aid, environmental protections. They’ve just graduated to fascism to get the job done.

Each and every Trump appointee is uniquely qualified to wreck the agency to which they’ve been appointed because that is the goal. Not to run things, but to wreck them and burn them to the ground. No agency, no pillar left standing.
