‘The free market mythology argues that the most ruthless, selfish, opportunistic, greedy, calculating plunderers, applying the most heartless measures in cold blooded pursuit of corporate interests and wealth accumulation, will produce the best results for all of us through something called the...

Far as I can see, the win is because Lula didn't compromise with the right to try to find a centre position. He was offering a new path instead of trying to make the fash-enablers happy, then he focused on getting his supporters out there to the polls.

Despite illegal US intervention, manipulation of Meta’s algorithms to favor Bolsonaro Jr., opposition from Brazil’s largest television network, and the politicization of Brazil’s electoral court, the impossible happened. LULA, PRESIDENT OF BRAZIL! 🇧🇷 Against all odds, democracy prevailed.

No big surprise that @robnosse.bsky.social has endorsed Torres & Novick. Koyama Lane gets his nod as well. He takes a strident stand against Morillo. I have been a supporter of Nosse but his part in the Moda deal has completely soured me on him. #orpol #pdx

She condemned the Biden U.S. arms deal with Israel, and as retaliation the Biden administration opened an investigation against her. The Trump administration is actually piggybacking off that Democratic investigation. Both parties are cesspools of Islamophobia.

Another reason to be thankful, on this Canadian Thanksgiving, that I'm north of the border. It would perhaps be edifying, however, to inquire exactly where the fuck the Democratic Congressional "Leadership" is. Oh, wait, silly me, she's Muslim so they won't lift a finger to help her.

5/ We need climate-resilient towns and villages. Car-free basic transport services wherever a certain population density is reached. The immobilisation of people - the lack of a choice- is an issue that affects millions of people, yet is hushed up, as it is a consequence of car-centred planning.

I will not rank Kellie Torres. My understanding is that Portland Metro Chamber / others looked for a candidate to receive "old guard" money / support early on, and Torres accepted. I also believe she is experienced with changing messaging based on audience. I therefore cannot trust her.

An ICE agent struck a 48 year old man with his vehicle in Houston Saturday, then hospitalized him in ICE custody. Possible broken leg. No video released. No comment. Harris County deputies are investigating. Abolition, not reform. #AbolishICE

THREAD. I am so glad to celebrate the 1-year anniversary of the publication of Copaganda. It's more relevant than ever. We must understand how people are brought along to support the most monstrous and repressive institutions. (And we should have some fun and make some jokes while doing it!)
