Hi there! I made mention of a potential rebranding a while back, and I've finally committed. I'm now Chilling_Willow, and you can call me Willow for short. I've used some form of the username Kasaki since I was like 10 years old and finally committed to a change and a name I liked. Love y'all.

I have a long standing belief that job interview days are so stressful that the person doing it deserves whatever meal or little treat they need to calm themselves down. One of my biggest hang-ups with streaming is when I start something on stream I feel a weird like, Need, to finish it on stream. And if it's a game I really want to just play I feel weird finishing it off stream because my free time for gaming is much higher than my free time for streaming. ya know?

As we're getting very close to time for registration and booking and everything for AGDQ I'm finding myself getting weirdly nervous at this whole thing. Also very excited and happy to finally be in a place that it's feasible, but weirdly nervous.

I just realized how long it's been since I streamed. Whoops.

I think maybe I should apply to be a comms buddy at more events. There's just something fun about existing purely to help someone out and help them shine. Also in general I'm happy to learn about any game to help someone out. So if you ever want silly and/or unhinged chatting I'm ya gal.

Okay so I finished Super Metroid last night. Amazing game. Honestly silly of me to have purposefully avoided it for this long. Got to just past the first boss of Fusion before bed. I'm quickly approaching the point of having to spend money for Dread and Ha Ha I'm in Danger.

Okay carrying on from the other night. I did not like the Game Boy Metroid 2, so I moved on to Super Metroid and damn it is really good. I'll play 2 when I work out a way to play the 3DS remake of it. Don't know how far into SM I am, but I'm thinking maybe I'll go to Fusion next.

Alright so I did give Metroid another fair shake. Attempted original NES Metroid and that was an awful time and I only made it like 15 minutes before giving up. I then sat and completed Zero Mission in one sitting. Well, guess I'm playing them all now.

I really liked the look of the new Metroid. The only experience I have playing the games was someone trying to teach me a specific trick in Super Metroid so I could play rando with them, and I bounced off that way hard. I also beat Prime 1. Should I actually give the series another chance?
