We used to really enjoy watching “Private Eyes” with Jason Priestly and Cindy Samson. Just discovered have a “continuation” called “Private Eyes West Coast.” They’re married, have a kid together, and are no longer P.I.s… but old habits die hard. Looking good so far!

I have a type of blood cancer called Polycythemia Vera. It’s well controlled by a prescription medicine called Jakafi, which Humana claims as being a $17,000/month medication. If I didn’t have really good insurance, there’s no way I could afford it I suspect many people who need it, aren’t taking it

I remember 9/11 I was at work at Walt Disney World (Backstage). We pulled a monitor from the conference room to keep up on the updates. It was a frightening time, because we knew that WDW was a likely target.

Watching The Doomsday Machine, from Star Trek: The Original Series. Such a good episode. I especially like the way Decker plays with a couple of data disks, which is so reminiscent of Humphrey Bogart from The Caine Mutiny.

Star Trek Strange New Worlds went from a Muppets episode, to a Telenovella episode. Thank goodness there was a good episode in between.

I am an openly gay man, and I’ve been with my husband for 38 years. If I’m talking to a stranger, and they say “Yeah, you’ll need to check with you wife.” Depending on my mood and the situation I will either correct them, or just ignore the statement. If you don’t know, just say “spouse.”
