Our campsite is close to the train tracks, and it’s like a noise show every time one goes past. I really enjoy it. Moon is so bright tonight

Crossed this river like 5x today, so had to listen to the song 5x

... and not to pick on Cleveland: Some get put in prison Other put themselves in one Pittsburgh, you're the living proof Row me down, row me down Monongahela River Water down the city's gloom Row your boat to the shore Monongahela River Isn't water anymore www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEMc...

Noah and I had to take the Pennsylvanian from Philly to Pittsburgh, because the tracks from DC are closed for maintenance. Now we’re holding indefinitely at Harrisburg because of a derailed freight car somewhere ahead of us on the tracks. Love to live in the rubble of a dying empire.

I’ve been trying to update my wardrobe slightly because I look like boiled garbage most of the time. I ordered some stuff from Everlane because I had a store credit. Never again. The en-shein-ification was swift and profound. I don’t enjoy wearing plastic.

It was either Contact or My Best Friend’s Wedding, which were the two movies playing at the movie theater in Chincoteague in the summer of 97– we saw both. I was 7 or 8 I guess.

First film you saw at the cinema. The real first one, not the pretend one you tell people! Mine: The Empire Strikes Back, 1980, Wigan. We were near the front and I can still remember how massive the AT-ATs looked, looming over us out of the snow :) Film, year, where, and whatever stuck with you.

So fucking tired of trying to get Amtrak employees to give a shit about people who travel with bicycles. It’s not rocket science.

Just accepted a new job that’s walking distance from my house! I’m going to sell my car!! I was skipping home after doing my onboarding paperwork this morning. And the culture seems amazing… I hope I fit in. ♥️♥️

if you are a city parks department and you’ve got a chance to pack your park with mile long lines of idling cars, you take that chance every time. bc that’s what award winning parks departments do! #number1notfakecity #parkn’pumkin

One of my ignorant neighbors took down the Trans People Belong sticker on the lightpost in front of my house. Bout to go nuclear and buy a hundred more stickers and cook up some wheatpaste. Ugh I hate my neighborhood sometimes.

Bearing witness. I've followed this saga for months. Sound on. You will hear agonized screams from protesters/indigenous ppl. Grandmother Cottonwood was not "land" but a part of the COMMUNITY. The last of 3 (the others dozed earlier this summer.) For a WALL that further devastated. This is ICE too.

This morning masked federal agents from the Department of Homeland Security entered private land in Lochiel, Arizona to halt protesters from protecting the grandmother cottonwood tree-sit that has halted border wall construction for more than two months.

If you care about the future of osprey in the Chesapeake Bay, please consider adding your support. Overfishing of menhaden by companies like Omega Protein (producers of fish oil supplements & fish food) is leading to the decimation of osprey populations. Barely any fledglings survived this year.
