I really don't like images Farage on his campaign trail, with a cigarette in his hand or face! Really thought we'd moved on from those days when you had to enter a room through a fug of smoke, with its smell and rankness. I'm of the ex-smoking generation - raised in a smoke haze and glad its gone

The more videos I see from Clacton, unsure who these people are, the more I fear that ignorance, acceptance of bias and racism is prevalent amongst them. Why? If you are poor, disabled or oppressed why would you side with extremists? The answer? Look to 1930s Germany.

I have steadfastly remained on that other Platform, the one that used to Twitter, but it's actually causing me distress and a lot of anxiety as I see so many lies, so much abuse and it being used as a Megaphone for some extreme views. Fast approaching the time I have to close it for my sanity.

Did Zhia Yusuf state that the Reform Policy to use the Royal Navy to turn back migrant boats could involve "lethal force?" If so they are walking on thin legal ice and direct conflict with RN Chiefs who could determine that as an illegal order.

The more posts I read from defected Tories and other Reform supporters I detect one common factor that repeats time after time. Their total lack of Self identty, Self-consciousness Self-perception, Self-recognition, Self-knowledge, Self-understanding or any degree of how the rest of us see them!

Yes & herein lies the problem. When Labour was dragged to the hard left by Corbyn, centre-left Labour MPs fought for their traditions and their principles. When the same thing happens in the Tory party, centre-right Conservative MPs go gently into that good night.

Said this before, will again. Badenoch is the most dangerous figure in British politics. She's not as extreme as Farage or Lowe, but her impact is more pernicious. She actively prevents the British centre-right from adopting moderate positions, and thereby facilitates the radicalisation process.

A lottery ticket is my most reckless gamble - So I'm totally befuddled at how George "Posh George" Cottrell can lay bets in the £Millions. That's not like my Granddad's Few Shillings on Horse Racing on a Saturday; that's seriously problematic. Where's it come from? What if he loses? How, Why, Where?

I'd have never made a good journalist. I have too much patience. Instead of waiting until Monday when Andy Burnham takes on the role of PM and announces his cabinet and Government Team there's a frenzy of wild speculation, misinformation and gossip rather than just wait a couple of days!

If I lived in the USA and could afford it, I would sue Nigel Farage for caused me,in my 80th Decade, for mental anguish and distress over his behaviour and potential to become PM. That man is seriously affecting my mental health.

Can someone enlighten me. Why did the Horde of Rioters in Belfast all wear black clothing and face masks/Balaclavas? Looked very much like a Black Shirt Uniform. Who cordinated that and orchestrated the mob? Or are we to believe it was spontaneous?

Excellent Information. Another sign that Truth is starting to permeate the News...

Denmark's coal-to-wind transition is one of the most dramatic energy transformations of the past three decades. In 1990, coal provided 90% of Danish electricity. Today it is under 3%. Wind now covers roughly 60% of electricity generation. The last coal plant is scheduled to close by 2028.

Yet still, the Oil Companies want to dig up an ever diminishing natural toxic resource. Wonder why?

Finally, when I tried to post my previous two comments on X, I received a "Something went wrong, but don’t fret – let’s give it another shot" and as yet I have not been able to post! Have I upset the X/ReformPLC Algorithm ?

Second question to the ReforrmPLC Canvassers. Is it true Nigel Farage is parachuting Matt Goodwin in to Great Yarmouth. my constituency, to oppose Rupert Lowe?? Answer: "No, untrue" but how would they know, because the members in Gorton and Denton didn't....

Oh Joy, ReformPLC Canvassers have just knocked my door and left after I gave them short shrift and asked a question they, three of them, couldn't answer. How would they remove or change their "Dear Leader"? Answer "We don't want to". They looked quite "normal" too.....

Nothing matters anymore obviously, but in the old world of - oh I dunno - a couple years back, this would have been career ending. You'd either have to settle into obscurity or go to the US and start again.
