Saw Rocky Horror Picture show with shadow cast tonight and it was fabulous. Very fun crowd and the cast was just fantastic. Great times.

We have a saying in German: "I can't devour as much as I want to puke." And while it translates okay into English, it just doesn't have the oomph it has in German. Ich kann gar nicht so viel fressen, wie ich kotzen möchte.

also: if it IS a mistake, so what? parents make mistakes all the time with their children. Not all of them will be reconciled. If cutting your parents off turns out to be a mistake later, deal with it then. As much as I love catastrophizing, you can't not do something because maybe it's a mistake.

why do we bash "dead beat" children for not being there for their parents but we never question if the parent has bad vibes? or if they're just unpleasant to be around?

That franchise had a movie out before I was born and will have movies out after I die. Incredible run. (I have watched maybe two of these).

First look at young Jason with his machete in the ‘FRIDAY THE 13TH’ prequel series.

I did not get Backrooms at all. Like... Cool shots and set and all that. But I was really bored. And the movie isn't even that long. A bit disappointed.

I didn't like Resident Evil as much as I had hoped I would. I think Cregger has some great ideas and wonderful cinematography, but it just didn't click. Kind of like Weapons, actually. Film is fine, but then some stuff just wasn't for me. Worth seeing RE in the cinema, though. Was fun with a crowd.

I will never, in my life, understand why people like that keep working. Just take the stolen wages and chill on a beach, dude.

I really want to know what the Heroes of the Storm playbook is. I loved the game until they unceremoniously fired all of HGC a week before Christmas (isn't that a lovely story?). But letting this game die for 7 years and then put a 30 dollar hero bundle in the store makes no sense to me. Intriguing.

I just bought an item in the grocery store that was cheaper than it was before. Not on sale. Just cheaper. I couldn't believe my eyes.

"GOP Governor Attacks Government Assistance programs" just wouldn't be as click-baity, eh?

That's a wrap on the @tempobasketball.bsky.social season. I had a lot of fun watching at home, but I didn't tune in for most of the away games after the team lost so many players to injuries and, frankly, sucked. I hope we'll have a good pick and can be more competitive next year.

I have never seen a more useless promotion on a social media site. What a waste of resources. Who the fuck cares about this at all? I am literally too old for Bluesky, I guess.

I love how unimaginative journalism has become when everything is now "-slop". Yeah, AI slop is a thing, but maybe use some more creative words when you describe anything else you dislike.

I'm enjoying lanterns but I don't fully understand why they had to jump into the future and spoil how the "current" situation will end. Takes the edge off it a bit.

Publishers think if they make them cost 10x more they can make 1000x more money.

The video game industry has always been volatile (I published Press Reset in 2021!) but the skeleton key to understanding the current state of things is this: Big games now cost 10x to make what they did 15 years ago but most do not generate even close to 10x the revenue. Simple as that

Forgot to mention: BABYMETAL fucking rocks. If you get the chance to watch them live, please do. Those girls are amazing and the concerts are so much fun.
