I see that's good. My friend also can't view it recently with a pico 4 ultra so seems to be a universal issue. I hope this changes very very soon as that is unacceptable.

I must admit I've not used my head set since the move out of my hole 2 years ago... But I never had much issue with the tether tangling... Sure I was aware of it and occasionally moved it while playing but it wasn't hindersom. But yeah long sessions and low battery life is not great too.

If they included it, it would simply cost the same price as if you bought those accessories separately. I imagine they were trying to get the base price of the headset as low as possible, especially since they originally promised it to be lower than $1,000. Blame the hardware crisis from AI.

I think they are loosing money already on the base product. No charger is squarely to target that price. Their initial target was under $1k.

It's wild that in the description for the charger, they specifically mention that you could use the Steam Deck charger. They fully assume that Steam Deck owners will be the primary demographic of buyers of the Frame, and not reaching out to a new consumer base.

Most disappointing gaming device I ever bought was the meta quest 3. No interest in VR gaming in general (good for fitness).

Priced out of the Steam Machine, now priced out of the Steam Frame, and no sign of Half-Life 3.

For sure. I would bet that even if they estimated it properly, they are still going to be heavily bottlenecked by the tech hardware industry. I would not be surprised if they had numbers, but were just waiting for orders to be fulfilled, which is why it took so long.

I think there might be also some bottlenecks on the supply chain. You know that there is currently a problem with memory supply
