I'm trying to digitize a 16 MM film. Anyone know a shop in DFW or a way to do this on the cheap? The one downside is its a family heirloom and I can't let it leave my sight, so I can't ship or leave it anywhere.

The Year of Code is here. I am having so much fun just messing around with different languages. My life just feels complete. Am I good at coding? On rare occasions Is this gonna improve my resume? Maybe Are my project getting better? Hell Yeah Do I love it? Absolutely

We are all getting played by government employees. Look at the SPY Calls that happened 10 minutes before the "Announcement" of Tariff pauses. Billions are being made by government employees and insiders... Easy money while screwing over EVERY AMERICAN!

This is more important than you realize. Bluesky doesn’t downgrade links. Which means news sites will get more traffic from here than other sites. Which gives them economic reasons to post here first.

Bluesky says it is now sending referral traffic through its "go" subdomain to make it easier for publishers to track the traffic coming from the social network (Sarah Perez/TechCrunch) Main Link | Mediagazer Permalink

ScopeBuddy has gotten it's first 1.0.0 release. 🎉 It can now be used by other projects or just average Linux Distro as long as you have gamescope installed. You can apparently also use it inside flatpak with some permission shenanigans but don't ask me how 😅 github.com/hikariknight...

If you use VS code mainly... continue is fantastic. Right now, I'm still splitting my time between neovim and cursor. For my needs sometimes I just want a quick edit from terminal... nothing beats neovim Other times when I want a file tree and all the bells and whistles... nothing beats cursor

Devs utilising AI in their IDE should check out Continue, it's #OpenSource and works with VS Code and @jetbrains.com - pretty cool stuff, especially if you use Cursor already. @christitus.com you might enjoy this if you haven't seen it already! www.continue.dev

⚠️ Warning to YouTubers, Creators, & artists. There is a scam going around where you're emailed from no-reply@youtube.com with an invite to watch a private video. These videos impersonate YouTube and link to a phishing page. Do not engage with these.

Updates aren't always your friend. DO NOT UPDATE DAILY! Wait at least for the weekend. Generally patches come out during the week and it gives people time to test. One Caveat: Zero Days, but that is the exception not the rule!

This looks entirely too clean to be a true X feed... I expect at least one ad for some cheap piece of shit backpack video ad to be jammed between these feeds.

Resharing this as we have the hopper warming up. Linux Landing page is already starting to reflect some of this. frame.work/linux Working with NixOS, more collaboration with Arch and Mint. But this is just the pre-game show. Thread below is my mood.

My goal for where I take Linux Support this year is best described as focusing on us being the best of the best. I will be rolling out some new additions and improvements to how we do things with Linux Support at Framework Computer.

I feel like I'm on the cusp of a major breakthrough. What breakthrough? EVERYTHING I've been working on for the past year is starting to snap in to place. Except hyprland... I'm back on DWM. 😂

By far my favorite tech video of the year so far.

This morning, I published a video about an open-source e-ink dashboard I bought and love: TRMNL (thanks to @atp.fm for the rec!) It’s currently my best-performing video since November, so it seems I’m not the only one that thinks it cool! Here’s the video: youtu.be/eIcZZX10pa4?...
