Can someone in UI/UX explain the impulse by companies to change icons. To me, a user, it seems like you blow a ton of brand recognition, familiarity, and ultimately frustrate a lot of users all to do... what exactly? Cultural impact is important, and it seems weird to me to blur brand identity.
