I'm here about the social media revolution. Are there donuts and coffee?

After watching Begotten, I feel like my phone is going to ring and someone will whisper "Seven days." If you thought The Devils was too p.c. & mainstream, you might like Begotten. It came out the same year as Honey, I Shrunk The Kids. Be sure to stay through the credits for the blooper reel!

Happy Mole Day! From 6:02am to 6:02pm on 10/23, we celebrate Avogadro's Number. A mole is a measurement unit that is equal to 602 sextillion of a substance, like an atom or a molecule. Don't party too hard. It would take a while to clean up a mole of confetti.

This was interesting. I've only seen "The Exorcist II - The Heretic" once, back in college with friends. We laughed in confusion and joked about the "locust cam" for weeks. This documentary makes me...understand things a little more.

Read the book then watched the film. Not bad. Was hoping for a supernatural element, but it's more of a whodunnit in the way of "Scream" and "Thanksgiving." And I feel old (and apparently bad because of my age) after reading/watching this.

Caturday. Post-breakfast, Domino goes out to survey his kingdom while Beaker & I curl up on the sofa to wait for him to want back in. Beaker is the sweetest cat I've ever known. I can pet her w/my bare foot & not pull back a bloody stump. We were like this for an hour. She puts her paw on my cheek.

I just finished "A Night In The Lonesome October," and it was fun. Some people read this every Oct. because it has 31 chapters that correspond to the days in the month. It's told from the perspective of Jack The Ripper's dog. Sherlock Holmes, Dracula, the Wolfman and others make appearances.

The theory is that "Stand By Me" & "The Lost Boys" are in the same universe. After the events in "Stand By Me," Ace Merrill runs away from Castle Rock, OR and winds up in Santa Carla, CA where he runs into a vampire. After being turned into one of the undead, he changes his name to David.

Spot and Squirrely Jay have such sights to show you. Hopefully the neighborhood kids won't be too put off by Pinhead and the Chatterer from "Hellraiser." I had fun doing this one. I grin when I look at these two. 🙂

I recently read the Dean Koontz book "Watchers" and watched the movie made that was based on it. Great book. If you love dogs, you'll enjoy this. Far less horror than I expected. As for the movie, oof. Corey Haim was popular at the time, and it feels like someone said, rewrite it for Corey.

This is Spot & Squirrely Jay. Spot is a stone statue left behind from the last owner of my home. Instead of throwing him out, I decided to paint/decorate him for holidays. Halloween is usually my favorite of the year to do this. I'm almost done with this year's look. Here are some previous ones.
