“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” —George Orwell (1984)

Terrifyingly obvious.

Head of UA intelligence Budanov: Russia planned to begin aggression against NATO countries by 2030, but has now revised its plans, aiming to occupy the Baltic states in/by 2027. Poland, according to him, is viewed by Russia solely as a target for strikes, a military campaign w/o occupation.

I didn’t agree with Reagan on many things, but this is one of those rare exceptions where I did.

So Trump blew up trade talks with Canada over this Canadian ad, which simply quotes Reagan but which lying Trump claims is fake. Do I have this right?

No one was killed or arrested at today's No Kings rally against Trump in New York City. At this MUCH smaller rally *for* Trump, at least 3 people were arrested (charged with burning an object with intent to intimidate), >30 people injured, and a woman was intentionally run over by a car and killed.

Trump is online positively wailing about this picture, because he is weak and vain and cares exponentially more about himself than anything else. That said, if there is something Trump does not want America to see, that means it is probably something every American needs to see. Please share widely.

I’ve long been a supporter of single payer healthcare. It works for the military and for seniors, and it can work for everyone else. Has anyone ever undertaken the task of describing how we can make the transition to single payer without making things worse in the short term?

You are up to date.
