It's really important to pay attention to the fact that Lula beat the fascist candidate not by compromising and trying to meet fascist voters in the middle, but by sticking to his guns, promising prosecutions for election interference, and mobilising his own voters to turn out in greater numbers.

Whew, just freed up 300 GB of space on my PC...! A lot of it was old Shadowplay videos that I had plans for, but I don't think would be worth editing into montages anymore It's bittersweet to let go of old memories, but I like to think it's another way of literally making space for new ones <3

In hindsight I'd consider adding Persona 4 to this, too! I'm not into it as much nowadays, but playing it on PS2 during the summer when I was between schools (and 16 y/o) caused its themes of new beginnings and eventual goodbyes to resonate with me strongly! Just a couple hours into the new Fire Emblem and I feel it's a masterclass in character visual design. It's SOOO refreshing to see characters who look like genuine, mature pieces of their world while having a variety of traits (e.g. age/skin tone) we don't often see in JRPGs... I love it!

I've been thinking up writing ideas for one of my characters and I reaaaally want to get this right. I trust my writing abilities but I also want to bounce em off someone experienced for constructive criticism sometime!

Super excited. Editing is finishing up on the Dancesport documentary I created to help promote my Dancesport visual novel. <3 This has turned out really nicely... I think. It's a little over 1 hour 10 minutes too, so it's proper documentary-like :D And it's my favourite Aussie dancers!

the amount of times i've had to read "ohhh but it's all stock animations!! they're not pokemon!!!" as reasons for Bound Destiny not being worth playing drives me mad. i try to be nice about it, but god. you get a full length jrpg and you shit on it for things that aren't feasible for a solo dev

Guh I love cooking in the new house ;u; The appliances have a lot more power so I don't need to always overshoot the cook time to avoid undercooking stuff now. And I can properly sear stuff now too! I made some lovely burgers today...

I wanna make a Fire Emblem romhack with my and my friends' pokesonas, but the hard part would be writing dialogue for characters who other people have as a representation of themselves... Maybe it'd be easiest to keep the core story cast short and the friends' sonas be cameos? Hmm.....

2026 has honestly been really good to me <3 every aspect of my life has improved a ton in one way or another, and there's exciting times ahead too :3 Hoping to keep this momentum going!
