Cigar Thoughts

"Just like that, it was the team from the city of angels that needed a miracle. But prayers from that godless bunch in blue and yellow never reach heaven, and two plays later the Seahawks were storming the field as NFC Champions." Cigar Thoughts are up: www.fieldgulls.com/seattle-seah...

Seahawks snatching souls tonight

an absolute ass-kicking

🥊

Patrick Mahomes getting the shit kicked out of him tonight

Kudos to Fleury for going straight back to the air with a simple, confidence building pass play after that brutal pick

/sigh the boy simply can’t help himself

JSN got Mansoor Delane in hell tonight

There’s no way around it anymore, Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the best receiver in the world right now

The Seahawks defense was very good to start the season but a full speed Nick Emmanwori has been transformative

The next tackle Emmanuel Wilson breaks will be his first ever but he’s getting every yard that’s blocked for him

They’re here! The official, exclusive Cigar Thoughts Darkside cigars! DM for details.

Will be refreshing to hear considered analysis rather than clickbait and hot takes

🚨 What’s wrong with the Seahawks?? Can they fix it? Just finished up with @natetice.bsky.social, where he + @jacsonbevens.bsky.social break down Seattle’s struggles, possible fixes, + discuss whether the ceiling and expectations for this team should change after a 3-3 start. In your ears shortly!

So apparently Paulina was filming the last ten minutes or so of the game and

Sam simply cannot help himself

I like this gameplan of lulling the defense to sleep by sucking for 54 minutes and then BAM! George Holani

Can’t believe what we’re watching

Rashid Shaheed

Two best uniforms in the league are on the field tonight

SB48 is on NFL Network right now

this game is so stupid and so awesome

🚨 Great convo today between @jacsonbevens.bsky.social + reporter Gregg Bell, discussing how the reality of Seattle’s first month compares to their preseason expectations and what Mike Macdonald may have in store for the 49ers on Sunday Plus, making sense of a weird backfield In your ears shortly!

Unpopular opinion: wins when you play poorly are encouraging

never a doubt

3rd & 15, everyone on the stadium knows where the ball is going, and it still doesn’t matter. JSN the most unguardable player on the planet right now.

Thank GOD for the Chargers

this is hilarious lol

that didn’t take long

Seahawks with an 86th percentile success rate on offense and 89th percentile success rate on defense Just an outlier loss that I fully expect them to bounce back from

Nothing process-wise concerning to me beyond not having a regular RB who can keep a good defense honest. Thought Sam largely ripped it and a 3-0 turnover ratio is unlikely to repeat.

That reminds me of the loss to the Bucs early last year, when the Seahawks’ entire secondary was out. It’s no excuse, but Seattle got right after that one and I expect they’ll do the same after this one.

JSN is a god

horseshit call on AJ Finley

Lamar Darnold

First time the offense has had any sustained rhythm today. No more margin for error.

My god, what a kick from Myers in these conditions

🚨 Just wrapped up the latest @cigarthoughtsnfl.com convo with Mitch Levy! He + I break down Seattle’s 2-0 start including what sets Mike Macdonald’s defense apart from other great units, what the future of the Seahawks backfield looks like, Drew Lock’s hot start, and more. In your ears shortly!

Seahawks are the real fuckin’ deal

Bump

Love that they went right back to Price after the fumble. Always thought it was so counter-productive of coaches to bench young RBs after one mistake.

JSN too easy, man

🚨 Just finished a fantastic morning-after conversation w/ elite ball-knower @greggrosenthal.bsky.social! He + @jacsonbevens.bsky.social broke down Seattle’s win, whether Drew Lock can keep them afloat in Darnold’s absence, + if anything about that game changed his expectations. In your ears soon!

Let’s light ‘em up

Never a doubt #Seahawks

JSN. Best player alive.

Let it rip. You’ve got your backup QB in. Who gives a shit if you lose by three scores? Don’t cut your playbook in half. Bombs away.
