9 years 9 tiers? Man city agreed to. 30 point deduction and £25 million fine if they try to create a super league after the Super League debacle. Are 114 of 115 charges equal to or greater than the perceived seriousness the Premier League found that to be?

If Japan beats Brazil, Japan will need to declare June 30th an emergency national holiday that way Japanese can get some rest. Currently 3am in Japan.

There’s a staffer whose job it is to roleplay these calls to him.

Trump: "Behind the scenes I must tell you Iran can't believe the press they get. They can't even believe it. And they told me. They said, 'It's amazing how well we're doing in the papers. We're not doing so well--' They're negotiating with us to make a deal."

Never mind the jobs you had, tell me five classes you took in college: 1. Africanisms in America 2. Human Origins 3. Statistical methods in Psychology 4. Ancient civilizations 5. Medical Ethics and critical thinking

Ladies and gentlemen, we’re on our own. There is no opposition party to what is going on. There is a performative party that will speak of opposition but will act in cowardice.

The democrats have outed themselves as the party that shut down the government for 40 days, furloughing government workers, taking away snap benefits and causing massive delays and cancellations of flights solely as a campaign strategy for the 2025 election cycle.

1 thing I have accomplished to my surprise is I no longer am getting texts or emails from the DNC for donations. I have successfully unsubscribed from all their never ending mailing lists. I was expecting one after tonight’s surrender. But nope

About to hit that party switch button to unaffiliated/independent. Don’t come asking for donations I’ve spent more than I could realistically afford to help fund some of these campaigns to get some of these senators and Biden elected.

BUT WAIT, HERE COME THE SENATE DEMOCRATS TO SAVE THE TURKEY!

There isn’t much to do in Choshi but if you want to see the sunrise and sunset, it’s the perfect place. The lighthouse is a great spot too.

To reflect the company's train line being near a "cliff's edge" both financially and physically, Choshi Electric Railway in Chiba Prefecture has nicknamed itself the "Inubo cliff edge line."

Ashli Babbitt was a domestic terrorist who attempted to overthrow our government via a violent insurrection at our nation’s Capitol. The administration agreeing to pay her family $5 million of taxpayer money is disgraceful.

It’s really difficult living around a bunch of oak trees when they’re sexually active. Currently wearing a mask, and having all the air purifiers in the house going.

Primary these people.

The 10 Democrats who voted with Republicans just now to censor Al Green: Ami Bera (CA) Ed Case (HI) Jim Costa (CA) Laura Gillen (NY) Jim Himes (CT) Chrissy Houlahan (PA) Marcy Kaptur (OH) Jared Moskowitz (FL) Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA) Tom Suozzi (NY)

That’s my representative and I couldn’t be more proud of this man. Thank you for your continuous dedication to doing what is necessary for the future of our country.

Chair Comer just threaten to have the House Sergeant of Arms forcibly remove me from the Oversight Committee for calling out Grifter-in-Chief Trump for corruption and making money off of the American people.

If he carries through with his Gaza statement. He’s going to ban Muslims again, and for those currently residing in the US, possibly deport or place them in detention camps. Especially if there is a terrorist attack in response to his actions in Gaza.

emptywheel@emptywheel.bsky.social

So at the same time as Trump is chumming up with Bibi saying they're going to convert Gaza to a resort run by his son-in-law, Trump's CIA is saying they're not going to fight terrorism in the Middle East anymore. www.wsj.com/politics/nat...

Tariffs are the smoke screen to take focus off Musk. Implement them to put focus on tariffs, remove them after Musk spent weekend stealing data from govt departments and shutting them down, focus back on removal of tariffs. Rinse & repeat until their motives are complete. Media need to focus on Musk

1. Show up. Go to the places Musk is taking over, bring cameras, demand to find out what's going on and where it breaks the law. 2. Refuse to allow standard business to continue unimpeded. Deny unanimous consent, delay votes, etc. 3. Be public about how illegal all of this is 4. Lay out a plan

Anyone else feel that the end goal is possibly expansionism? Trump will take over North America, Putin Europe, and China Asia. As territories, states or satellite states.

So if Musk hits the wrong button and sends the economy crashing. His wealth will decline (most tied to stock) with it, and creditors will come calling, could he bankrupt himself along the way? Or will he just transfer funds from the treasury to his personal account?

Elon Musk being head of the make believe DOGE department meanwhile paid more than double what twitter was worth to purchase ($44B Purchase v $19B Value) and then subsequently made bad decision after bad decision that caused the value to drop from $19B to $9B.

We seem to forget that all of the assaults we have seen on objectivity and factual information over the last 3-4 decades weren’t all tied together. Everything has been tied together to poison the well that Americans drink from. Social media and internet put the assault into hyperdrive and focused it

The only reason anti-vax attitudes were able to take root in the modern era is because vaccines are so fucking good at their job people forgot why we need them

Good morning, everyone! Happy Election Day. Today is going to be a LONG day, so first things first: 1. Take care of yourself. Hydrate. Eat. Turn off the news, if you need to. Do what you need to do to feel centered today, because that's incredibly important.
