It’s so on brand for this country to be shocked that so many folks are on SNAP benefits and about to lose them, but they blame poor people for being lazy and not their employers for paying slave wages.

What’s truly stupid and frustrating about this era is that when people are being marched into the concentration camps rather than “work will set you free” written over the gate. It will be “I Can Has Cheezburger.”

It’s hard to defend this country as any good when the news is showing mothers being separated from their children over here and mothers and their children being blown apart in Gaza. This country could stop it at any time and no one seems to give damn

I think the anti-woke backlash is in no small part because of COVID. People were asked to do things for the common good and that radicalized them against any kind of common good and the concept of civic virtue, and an entire political party decided that was good because a Democrat was in office.

Growing up I had relatives from Europe fly over here for vacation but they would always also have an empty luggage to buy stuff because goods were much cheaper here. If the goods are now just as expensive but we don’t have universal healthcare, what’s the point of the USA?

Senator Murphy this morning talking about “ we need to decide if we are with Ukraine or not” dude, that ship has sailed. Trump and the GOP Congress aren’t giving Ukraine another dime or bullet, it’s over. He’s just trying to come up with a PR exit strategy

So Sheryl Crow, a musician, makes a social media video about selling her Tesla and it gets some people so riled up that a sitting US Senator talks about it on Fox News, who are the snowflakes again?

People are shocked that the United States is negotiating with Russia directly and not involving anyone else. This has always a proxy war with Russia, this was never about Ukraine, but now the US has an administration that’s friendly towards Russia

As the father of a special needs child, these talks of massive cuts to Medicaid really hit home. The narrative is welfare queens, but the reality is the majority of benefits and services my child receives is also through Medicaid.

You are up to date.
