Everyone in short fiction is underpaid and this was just one small step towards addressing things here. The drive ended successfully, but the goal is ongoing. If you subscribe today or tomorrow, it goes to the next cycle of increases until the job is done. clarkesworldmagazine.com/subscribe/
Our subscription drive is closing in on its goal. So far, as part of our 20th anniversary celebrations, we've managed to give everyone but our authors a raise. We're only 20 subscriptions away upping author pay from 14 to 15 cents/word. clarkesworldmagazine.com/subscribe/
Heading home after a lovely day visiting @sheilawilliams.bsky.social. Good to see her in the new place the gofundme has helped pay for. So much better for her. www.gofundme.com/f/help-irene...

Clarkesworld gave me my first professional publication, and I couldn't be more thrilled to be in their 20yr anniversary issue. Happy birthday, @clarkesworldmagazine.com! And with one of my favourite stories, too: "Roams the Planet of Our Grief," where a trans boy talks to the dead. As one does.
It all started on this day. Thank you for a wonderful twenty years.

More great news this week. I'm honoured to be part of @clarkesworldmagazine.com's 20th anniversary issue, with what is likely the last Morag and Seamus story. Find out how a Welsh holiday tradition comes in handy when there's ghosts in the abandoned mine... clarkesworldmagazine.com/moore_10_26/

Very very (very) proud to have a story in Clarkesworld’s 20th anniversary issue! ‘Five Bottles’ is a story about families and death but mostly it’s about the world’s worst wine tasting and i apologise for that in advance

Heading to my first Dragoncon in the morning. I need to start scheduling longer breaks between conventions

To be clear: no author has won a Hugo Award in the Novel, Novella, Novelette, Short Story or Series categories at a younger age than @hhpak.bsky.social just did. Astonishing.
CONGRATULATIONS @hhpak.bsky.social! YOU ARE THE YOUNGEST-EVER WINNER OF A HUGO AWARD IN A PROSE CATEGORY! YOU BEAT THE RECORD HELD BY GEORGE R.R. MARTIN WHO WAS 26 YEARS AND 10 MONTHS OLD WHEN HE WON FOR "A SONG FOR LYA" IN 1975!
