Trump, when asked if Putin is an obstacle to peace: “I had a rough talk with Zelensky. He’s not making it easy — never had the cards.” No mention of Putin. No pressure. No surprise. Trump has zero intention of holding his buddy accountable.

In Russia, May 9 is Victory Day, a national holiday commemorating the Soviet Union's victory over Nazi Germany in World War II. It is worth remembering today that Russia was initially on Hitler's side from 1939-1941.

Looks like the costs of the chopping will end up higher than the costs of paying the fired employees-- but of course, minus the medical and agricultural research, social security support, park ranger services, aviation safety assistance, CIA intelligence, etc.
