Sweet boy Burz continues to heal well. His stitches are purple, which is his favorite color anyway, and his fur is growing back in nicely. He's also SLIGHTLY less grumpy toward psycho-boy Merc, which is probably mostly because Burz feels better in general with that sore eye gone.

Until I shared it them this weekend, members of family were previously unaware of one of my favorite Will Rogers quotes, so now I will make sure to share it with you all: "I am not a member of any organized political party. I am a Democrat."

How could a trans ban affect me, a cis female? Well: 1) I don't own a purse. I carry my wallet/keys, etc. in my pockets. 2) I'm overweight and don't really have a waist. I'm also short torso, so women's jeans don't fit well. The low rise ones come up to my waist.
