White South African here. At no risk of being genocided. But I continue to be mystified that the courts in our country, including the apex Constitutional Court, refuse to concede that the supposed 'struggle song' using the words, 'Kill the boer, kill the farmer' is not hate speech.

It's an unnecessary and divisive provocation, used by the EFF political party, which faces an increasing struggle for relevance in our political landscape. They claim a 'historical context'. Flip the racial innuendo in the slogan and all hell would break loose. Time to can it? #NationBuilding

It's critical for everyone to remember what an Executive Order is. It is the President communicating orders to members of the executive branch. Policies to pursue, actions to take, etc. They are not laws. They are not close to being laws. They are formalized memos to employees. That's all.

There's a saying in the east, that where western psychology ends, eastern psychology begins. The same seems to apply to #neuroscience research in which the focus is on the brain (considered to be hardware in the east) and nothing about the mind (software).
