it cannot actually be ignored or danced around that the closure of BioWare came so soon after the Saudi and Jared Kushner acquisition of EA. they absolutely did take the studio making EA’s broadly queerest games out back and shoot it old yeller style. do not let yourself or colleagues ignore that

I sincerely believe we're at a tipping point right now where AI usage, especially AI code usage, is on the verge of becoming normalized in some sections of the indie scene, and I dunno, if we can't push back against that then I think we're pretty conclusively on the back foot against AI as a whole

right now there's no guarantee AI usage becomes embedded in indie games. We're a scene. We don't HAVE to be this. Individual choices couldn't matter more in this moment. To see that you can make a small, positive impact at mild inconvenience to yourself and say "nah" is to give up on a better world.

If you've got a professional account on Instagram switch it to a personal account before the 30th, or Facebook is going to essentially have full licence rights to everything you put on there 🤷

quite honestly this is what we should call it instead. as a reminder, the term vibecoding was started *by* these people, not started by people against full ai coding. we are essentially just respecting their own founded term by using it, so we should not do that

In 2025, I was commissioned by @fourleafisland.art for some video editing work based on some VODs that they wanted converting into a YouTube-appropriate format. They never saw formal release, but I've uploaded them to my own channel with their permission for preservation's sake. Video links below:

Vibe coded programs are extremely dangerous. You have no idea wtf the code is made to do, and neither does the person distributing it. Like sure, it could infect your PC or create backdoors, but also memory leaks, render files unusable, brick it so you can't boot, anything Do not install them

If you still have the Epic Games Launcher on your system, don't update it and get it the fuck off of your computer. There's no telling what damage it can do or what vibecoded landmines are waiting in it.

No joke. I think this is the most important video I have ever seen about mobile games. This guy breaks down how this game psychologically profiles you, and makes the game harder or easier in order to show you ads

absolutely disgusting to shamelessly gloat about vibecoding your product as you're charging ahead to devalue an entire industry and several art forms with copious amounts of AI confetti hyperslop, depriving real artists and developers of oxygen

"We vibe coded a new Epic Games Launcher" because "programming is hard", announce company we're somehow supposed to see as a serious Steam competitor https://bit.ly/4hMHbi5

I'd like to thank fourleafisland for the opportunity to make these in the first place. Though they never saw a formal release due to issues regarding scheduling, it was a blast to work on them anyway, and an honour to work with someone who's work I hold in very high regard. Thank you for watching!

NEW: Epic Games has delayed its upcoming (not yet announced) Star Wars + Marvel shooter as it pivots to complete AI game development. "No more hand-written code," a director told staff. All art "generated with full AI workflows." Full scoop: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

I need to throw together a costume that involves animated LED eyes on relatively short notice, and all the retail LED masks that would otherwise work don't allow custom animations afaik. Could anyone point me in the right direction here? thankssss

is there like a comprehensive list of visustella plugin alternatives. getting kinda sick of being forced into their ecosystem and the persistent and unnecessary obfuscation of their codebase

Since these images use so many colours, getting them to work in-game and load the correct palettes was a little challenging... Here's Creepypasta Tails and his friends, who were born from palette bugs during the mod's creation. Please be nice to them.

Probably the coolest thing he's done next to being a potential Bomberman fan

Writing this final pass for STELLARHEART's script has truly made me realise how burnt out I have become on (re)writing for the same thing for... over a year now? God, has it really been that long?

Less so the game itself, I'm still immensely proud of my work and I hope that it will show in the final product, but more the process of such longform storytelling.

Once I'm able to finally move onto something new I think it will do my headspace a great benefit. Ideally something with a hell of a lot less optional dialogue to write. Seriously, that's got to be my least favourite part of the writing process by a landslide.
