My 40 best pictures from the No Kings protest from 3/28. I hope one day, I can feel safe enough for my fellow Americans fighting for democracy to post the unedited pictures without anyone's face blacked out, as to commemorate the raw emotion that took the streets that day.

Alright, managed to fuck up a SEAD mission so badly that I lost basically everything that moves and has guns and had to resort to bombing the enemy from low orbit. Which is very unfun. I'm gonna do a Lockheed Martin. #SpaceEngineers

Nations of the Actually Free World™️ have the opportunity to do something very funny. Repeal anti-circumvention laws. Repealing anti-circumvention laws laser targets the United State's tech monopoly of broken and enshittificated tech companies rather than blanket targeting everyone.

This is also because I want the digital high seas of net 1.0 that I completely missed out on, but still keeping the convenience of the infrastructure and advancements we have now.

In the words of Cory Doctorow, "If someone threatens to burn your house down unless you follow their orders, and they burn your house down anyway, you don't have to keep following their orders."

So, rather than enacting counter-tariffs or capitulating to Trump's everything (yet another reminder since 1939s appeasement doesn't work), which both don't work since counter-tariffs only make things more expensive for your own people...

So, the US has these "anti circumvention law" that effectively make it illegal to bypass any DRM built into any product, regardless of how bullshit it is. Like John Deere tractors not accepting spare parts without a secret password from a licensed tech, or Apple phones not accepting spare parts.

Most other Western nations have these laws too, because the US strong-armed everyone into having said laws by threatening tariffs if they didn't sign the trade agreement that required these laws on both sides.

I'm not condoning violence, but according to this graphic by The Daily Show, if I get put on a jury panel for any one of these gentlemen's and ladies' assault cases against Donald, I'd have difficulty convicting. Because TBH, I understand if you sometimes just want a little violence.

Donald Trump has instructed the entire FBI to prioritize finding ways to bring charges against anti-fascists and other activists. Any FBI agent who wants to advance his career now has an incentive to set up naïve kids for an entrapment case. Please read about entrapment and how to protect yourself.

crimethinc.comInside the FBI Entrapment StrategyIn April and May 2012, the FBI initiated a spate of entrapment operations designed to frame anarchists as “terrorists.” Significantly, they did not target longtime organizers, but rather people who...

I’m finding it increasingly hard to report anything delivered by “official sources” in the US. Could be true, could be a coverup, could be completely made up for nefarious ends. It’s a country now where no one really has any idea what’s actually going on.
