I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good. Stay free

I can't believe this. How is this even legal. My husband was asked to come back and work without pay.

Allison Gill@muellershewrote.com

BREAKING: Furloughed employees at CDC just received an email about the shutdown, but has REMOVED language about backpay that appeared in a similar email sent out a month ago. On the left is the Oct 1st email with the backpay language, on the right is the email they received today.

We don’t yet know what motivated the person who shot and killed Charlie Kirk, but this kind of despicable violence has no place in our democracy. Michelle and I will be praying for Charlie’s family tonight, especially his wife Erika and their two young children.

#AI #Podcast #formulaOne #F1 #Copilot I found this concerning. Copilot has an option to create a personal podcast based on your choice of topic and style. I picked formula one and sardonic. The AI created podcast was really good. Kind of scary and something all podcasters should keep an eye on

I saw him on CNN but I'm glad he went on Fox as well.

Wes Moore on Fox & Friends: "Our National Guards are not trained for this ... we know the missions that they are trained for. Municipal policing is not one of them. If we want to be serious about making people safe, let's actually do the things that make people safe."

On Juneteenth, we celebrate freedom and recommit ourselves to the work that remains undone. We remember that even in the darkest hours, there is cause to hope for tomorrow’s light.

If you are not following Aaron on immigration matters, take a minute and follow him.

Aaron Reichlin-Melnick@reichlinmelnick.bsky.social

For generations, if you came on a visa and applied for asylum, you would generally not be arrested even if your visa expired during the process. That’s over now. They’re arresting everyone, even people who have done legitimately nothing wrong. What a terrible, awful, inhumane, cruel policy.

End your day with some Cornish calm. Know that you are not alone, you matter, and that you are a miracle in every second. You count. Rest well, my friends. See you tomorrow. 😊 #Cornwall #Porthmeor #calm #peace #nature #sunset #sky #ocean #sea #beach #life #walk #photography

My Senator

Kyle Griffin@kylegriffin1.bsky.social

Sen. Patty Murray on the Padilla incident: "I have been here for more than 32 years. I have come to this floor often to speak out, to be angry, to be a voice for my people. I have never come this close to having tears in my eyes … We are a democracy, but we can lose that democracy."

Her statement is frightening. California elected their government.

Justin Baragona@justinbaragona.bsky.social

Kristi Noem: "We are not going away. We are staying here to liberate the city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership that this governor and that this mayor have placed on this country and what they have tried to insert into the city." Sen. Alex Padilla is then forcibly removed!

Reposting to support my Senator, but I'm pretty sure everyone on bluesky agrees with her

Senator Patty Murray@murray.senate.gov

House Republicans passed the single largest transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich in the HISTORY of our country.   The GOP tax bill would deliver the largest cut to Medicaid and SNAP EVER.   Repost and help me put a burning, bright spotlight on this awful disaster of a bill.

What Will be interesting is the next race if Max gets any penalties and is banned for at least a race. What will Red Bull do? Yuki is still learning in that curse second seat. They better not touch lsack and they don't have an official reserve driver.
