I don’t know, man, I’m kind of sick of treating Trump and his cronies like they’re just absurd and laughable and not really spending any time talking about the murders, the concentration camps, the millions starved around the world, people living lives beset with threats of violence and erasure.

So, a slight change of plans: The Muppet Countdown episode is being postponed until after the holidays. Instead, this Wednesday, I'm starting Season 3 of the podcast a week early! Tune in for the first episode of Not Your Father's Ebenezer Scrooge, as I cover the two animated versions from 1994.

Last year at Halloween, instead of bobbing for apples, we appled for Bobs. What ridiculous sorcery will I introduce this year? Join us next Wednesday for The Order of Things Halloween Special at 8 Eastern!

The theatrical cut of the Tim Allen movie The Santa Clause featured a reference to 1-800-SPANKME, which a child called and racked up hundreds of dollars in fees. The home video release replaced it.

We all know the "Viggo broke his toe" story but what's another movie fact you're personally compelled to bring up every time without prompting? For me, it's the fact that Robin Tunney is wearing a wig in The Craft because of having just shaved her head to save her job filming Empire Records.

A great character actor who always gave it his all. No matter the part or the project, he would turn up and make it memorable. I’ve also heard so many stories about what a kind and caring man he was to work with. RIP

Watched the first 4 episodes of Carrie last night, and it’s safe to say I’ll enjoy everything Mike Flanagan does. It’s a true updating of the story for the modern day. Also, Matthew Lillard’s performance reminds us once again that Quentin Tarantino has no idea what he’s talking about.

Like a lot of folks in the Space Jam fandom, I was stoked to finally see Ken Russell’s The Devils and fill in the backstory of the nun in the New Legacy crowd scene! Hmm. Pretty different kind of movie, though.

Almost like there was absolutely no benefit to throwing trans people directly under the bus, but he just felt like it.

Like most zombie movies, Dawn Of The Dead (1978) feels like a video game. What's most surprising about the film, though, is that the video game it resembles most isn't a first person shooter or a horror survival game, but Roller Coaster Tycoon.

Chuck Lorre took all the good will from the Charlie Sheen debacle, burned it with a series finale that was just a series of middle fingers to him, and he’s now trying to ride that same high against other actors.

Objectively hilarious to do a nostalgia-bait prequel about a character who doesn't get any of his iconic items until later sequels.
