Comic books guy

Here is Tales from the Fridge (1973) with parody of a famous Tales from the Crypt cover. I love the cover but the interior is just ok

It’s Halloween week! You know I’m reading something spooky. This originally appeared in Haunt of Fear #7 (1951). Classic no background from Johnny Craig during dramatic panels.

RIP Walter Koenig, author of DC Comics Star Trek #19, October 1985. "Chekov's choice". Chekov incites the crew of the Enterprise to mutiny while the ship is out of control and on a collision course for an asteroid. Stardate 6714.3

RIP Walter❤️

Now reading. Issue 2 in this weekly October series

Reading spooky EC library editions 🎃

We are in peak spooky comics season, so I have to go with an old horror comic for top shelf Friday. This one is by Richard Corben from 1972. Classic Corben: weird monster and a women with a ridiculously big rack

Spain Rodriguez does an EC style crime comics cover. Found in the 3rd volume of his Fantagraphics book series

Creepy space horror cover by Jack Jackson 1970

Here is a spooky Richard Corben cover for your evening

Who doesn't need some Hulk in their day? Took a break from my current project to do a sketch cover. These covers DO NOT like thin washes used on them. But, it turned out in the realm of what I wanted. I'll have this with me this weekend at Albany Comic Con, so it'll be for sale.

We got our vintage Halloween light up guys displayed

Now reading a Star Trek DS9 miniseries that comes out weekly this month.
