#portfolioday :3 Heya I’m indui! I love creating fantasy art, especially in the theme of gardens/plants, dragons, kitties, and the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

one of my current fav dystopian feelings is that whenever i read physical books or draw/write in my physical sketchbook, i have complete peace of mind that im free of being inhumanely psychoanalyzed and spied on

No joke. I think this is the most important video I have ever seen about mobile games. This guy breaks down how this game psychologically profiles you, and makes the game harder or easier in order to show you ads

After that, I'll be finishing these :D -Dragons in the Pacific Northwest (art book) -The Messenger (comic?) which yeah, I'll talk about more after I finish the above book first ;v;

So those are my main big goals in the coming years! I'll probs continue to be p inactive online, tho I’m thinking about making posts that document bits of the process🤔 since those can be kinda fun. But yeah, thank you so much for the patience, hopefully the they will be enjoyable to peek at! ;v;

As some might remember, I made a ton of fantasy art inspired by the paintings of Caspar David Friedrich back in 2024. At first I was just going to make a lil zine that compiled them together, with each piece accompanied by a vignette that hinted at a larger story. But ~1 year ago, [cont]

I decided it would be more fun to turn it into a fully-fledged story (oops) :D My goal for the overall vibe is-- taking Romanticism's big lovely scenes of melancholy beauty + putting characters in there to wander about who have fun/strange adventures and observations :)

Sorry I'm much less active these days, because I'm focusing on some bigger art book projects :") I'll share a bit about them here with portfolio day!! CURRENTLY FINISHING!!: -The Botanist, the Thief, and the Dragon

bruh i think im gonna stop using google docs, this is so unnerving. im working on a little story and whenever i start typing in it -> open YouTube for ambient songs/sounds in the bg, it immediately suggests videos that are on the exact details im typing. stfu freaky spy machine i hate you 😭

This is a great little zine, fantastic art, one of the best I've gotten in some time. Highly recommend.

Reprint orders are open for the rest of today! (May 24) For the reprint, i made a new cover (since the old one was just a repeat of one of the inner illustrations), and also added one more eco region, the High Desert :D So now it has: 🌊 The Coast Range 🌲 The Valley 🏔️The Cascades 🏜️ The High Desert

What is Goblin Hill? It is foremost an aesthetic ideal that dictates my artistic practice. In practical terms it is a Dream Residence, a long low rambling house perched on the ridge of a hill somewhere in the Wisconsin driftless. It is an artistic commune, a refuge & fortress. My glittering mirage.

LRT THE MAYOR???? HELLO? speaking of, yeah, was at Anthrocon this weekend :D helping my wife with vending! so fun 🥹 (minus the Heat Wave ofc) i love furries

I'm sorry for the late notice, but a lot more sold than thought when i posted this on Tumblr the other day—and i have a con upcoming so i gotta be careful about my workload getting too high. But I still wanted to post here too just in case, because several people have expressed interest. thank you🥲

60% there, but still a ways to go! The Custom Art tier sold out before I could post about it, so I’m opening up another 5 slots. These are examples of past kickstarter requests - it's the only time of the year I offer custom commissions, so now is the time to pounce! #book #SailoftheMenagerie

this piece has been my desktop bg for years and I'm still not tired of it. i look at it and think about: the relationship between Le Guin and her Earthsea books; the relationship between Miyazaki and his son while this movie was being made; the impression this movie had on all those members, (1/2)

the impression this movie had on audiences, the impression this BOOK had on audiences AND MORE aaa - nothing straightforward about any of it (and on top of that, for me, despite this movie being one of Studio Ghibli's ultimate "failures," the art of it had the biggest impact on my own work) man...

EVENT TIME :D WAHOO My wife and i are at Crafty Wonderland (portland OR) tonight and tomorrow!!! we’re super excited to vend here for the first time, come say hi if you’re around! there are some seriously amazing creators here

ummmmmm i think a handful of people will notice that the xiv zine was actually finished like... last year ty for baring with me on belated announcements, IT WILL HAPPEN A LOT lol i get so carried away with finishing projects, that I often forget to find time to properly promote them too

also, other times i just can't for other reasons (eg i also need to extensively set up other parts of my shop first) def a part of making art your job that one can easily forget about
