You can never rule anything out, but it doesn’t feel like the kind of year where low-propensity GOP voters are going to surge to the polls on E-Day.

Today’s GA voter demos White: 53.8% Black: 30.2% Cumulative: Wh: 53.0% Bl: 32.1% Only four days left now

People get mad at me when I say it seems like there are forces now pulling the Deep South towards Dems while the upper Midwest has looked relatively weaker for them in what’s looking like a big national blue shift, but I don’t know how you can’t at least be open to it.

AI stocks are oversold but it’s going to be tough for a sustainable rally with so much equity supply coming in November. For a historical example of this, see June.

Tough thing is arguably we’re going to pivot from a compute shortage to a pricing war at some point so it’s hard to know how to project out margins.

19% adjusted operating margin, holy smokes

Looking at the NYT voter demo project again, didn’t realize they had swing maps. Interesting how the nonwhite swing was pretty uniform but the white swing was not (and the nonwhite swing was much bigger than the white swing):

I feel like hyperscalers vs recipients of the hyperscaler capex spending is a better framework than Mag 7 vs the 493. $AAPL, $NVDA, and $META all have very different AI profiles, and “493” names like $MU and $CAT have obviously been beneficiaries of the spending.

Is the AI boom a bubble outside Tech? 📉 Rev per worker: S&P 493 flat 📉 Profit margins: S&P 493 flat 📉 Productivity boost: None Non-tech sees AI token spend as a cost center, not growth. The macro AI story will be decided in the S&P 493, not the Mag 7. T at Apollo

What will frontline Dem House members in 2027 (say in R+7 districts) be looking to do? My guess is two things — voting to repeal the tariffs and investigating corruption. They’ll want to vote no on all the progressive fiscal wish lists.

Markets were hot in June, so the equity issuance was well-timed. The challenge now is markets are stormier but more money needs to be raised.

IPO window... closed! $KBE Markets @soberlook thedailyshot.com/sub...

My two main hurdles with believing this AI selloff is yet another run of the mill correction: -they’ve lost relative momentum in the market — arguably housing stocks have better charts than AI stocks now -they keep needing to raise more and more money and that’s tough when confidence is shaky

As far as I’m concerned it’s irrelevant if hyperscalers have good earnings and affirm capex intentions next week, that’s not what this is about at the moment. Short-term fundamentals aren’t important until at least the new year.

Netflix has its challenges but if it feels like it, it can buy all the sports rights. Not sure what consumers should be rooting for.
