so the most powerful Republican in the House is telling us that Epstein's pedophile child-trafficking operation was so embedded in the US government to the point that releasing the files poses a credible risk to the nation's security? i'm floored. how could this be
Update: Speaker Johnson says he has "national security" concerns about releasing the Epstein files
crazy how dude got lucky with facebook, sold user's personal data for millions, & has failed at everything since but keeps going out of monetary inertia
this unremarkable knob routinely sets unholy gobs of money on fire to pretend his boomer sneaker ad company is innovative and interesting, and the press just endlessly normalizes it
the entire nation is suffering because this man just can't find the right man to pleasure his wife while he watches
Stephen Miller: "The scandal is how Democrats & the left scarred the landscape of our country w/grotesque so-called modern art that celebrates ugliness ... very importantly, President Trump is making sure it's in the neo-classical design around which our nation's architecture has long been directed"

who could have expected this
POLITICO: “.. They referred to Black people as monkeys and ‘the watermelon people’ and mused about putting their political opponents in gas chambers. They talked about raping their enemies .. and lauded Republicans who they believed support slavery. @politico.com www.politico.com/news/2025/10...
schumer pops his head out from his ivory tower once every other month to embarrass himself & get literally nothing done but somehow he's the Architect of The Grand Design that forces the Trump admin to skewer the souls of the American people for some loose change & a novelty coffee mug
BRENNAN: CBS confirmed the Trump administration rescinded the layoffs of CDC scientists. Some were involved with the federal measles response. How does a mistake like this happen? VANCE: The govt shutdown inevitably leads to some chaos. It happened because of Schumer B: But this was a WH decision

an incontestable fact of the second trump administration is it is actively trying to sicken and kill as many americans as it can
NEW: @CDCgov hit hard by massive firings that several staff describe to me as a “bloodbath.” Among those RIFd: —leadership of the center for immunization and respiratory diseases; —leadership of global health center —leadership of the measles outbreak response; 1/4
conservative politicians have not and will never see people with disability as full humans they tell you this to your face whenever the topic is brought up
There are reports that the *entire* office of special education at the US Dept of Education has been cut. These hardworking folks ensure kids with disabilities get equal access to a quality education. America’s children deserve better than this.

not sure you can really classify this as an "own goal" when liberal institutions seem to be more or less okay with what's happening now so long as they still get paid
Pretty incredible own goal by liberal institutions and many Democratic electeds to crush the exact type of protests in 2024 that would’ve been the most effective way to slow or stop ICE incursions into American cities in 2025
you mean masked unidentifiable assumed federal agents committed an act of terrorism against Chicago citizens they literally zip-tied CHILDREN
Adults and children alike were pulled from their Chicago apartments, crying and screaming, during a large overnight raid that has left tenants and neighbors shaken. https://cnn.it/4pPCXIt
insane how soy this guy is
Stephen Miller: "All that bullshit is done, over, it's finished. The gangbangers you deal with- they think they're ruthless? They have no idea how ruthless we are. They think they're tough? They have no idea how tough we are. They think they're hardcore? We are so much more hardcore than they are"
a competent successor to these two would try them legally for complicity in the erosion of our democratic process
So far today, Chuck Schumer has said his strategy for preventing Trump sending troops into blue cities is to win over Republican senators (!) while Hakeem Jeffries praised Eric Adams's courage and authenticity (!!) while refusing to endorse Mamdani. Again. These two gotta go.

🚨 New directive NSPM-7 targets "anti-capitalism," “anti-Christian,” and “anti-American" opinions as indicators of extremist violence, authorizing an army of 4,000 counter-terrorism officers to prevent crimes that haven't happened: www.kenklippenstein.com/p/trumps-nsp...

you underestimate how many on the political right wish they could get away with what epstein did
If a full accounting of Epstein’s crimes - and his accomplices - is ever made public, people on the left and the right are going to feel really dumb that we’ve been arguing with each other while the elites of both parties pal around and do abhorrent shit.

I know it's frustrating when lawyers point out when something the administration is doing is not legal. But responding with "the law doesn't matter anymore" is really unhelpful and defeatist. Clarifying the law is important because it reminds us not to comply in advance and to resist and take action
