Yesterday was the last day to drop off stuff at the Share Shed at the Transfer Station. I dropped off a half a carload of good but not needed stuff. But look what came home with me. This chair is sweet, and free!

Sounds like this accident caused the Hazelton high school bus to be sent back to the high school as there is only one route. Kids are being fed and cared for. Lots of praise for handling a difficult situation.

The fall colours through the Cariboo have been amazing. Sitting in the back of the bus with tinted windows has been so frustrating as the colours are muted. But I guess that's what you get for $20.

The long trek home. 4 1/2 hrs in and leaving Cache Creek.

Heading home on the slow bus after a week of being by my mom's bedside and TBH it feels like a month. This is the third time this year we've 'pulled' mom through. There's a cold pit in my stomach that the next time will be sooner than later.
