Housing is not only the best place to start attacking these shortcomings, it is also sandboxed enough to experiment without affecting the rest of the game. It is not only the perfect platform to start testing/expanding UGC features (which is likely already the plan) but also RP/social features.

This is a pretty good video that nails some of my concerns. My main issue has been being able to visit houses is a hurdle. There's not really good ways to search a specific house to visit. We literally have a neighborhood browser system, but it's only to buy a house. This is fundamentally broken.
