It’s more than a little maddening we fall right back into dissecting something Obama said that is of zero consequence but conservatives found a bad faith attack angle on. Meanwhile Trump openly directs the DOJ to attack enemies and invalidate elections unfavorable to him flies under the radar.

That it'll fail because they lack sufficient consolidation and centralized control does not make it trivial that the president of the United States is trying to steal elections and produce an illegitimate sham Congress. It is open rebellion against the Constitution and morally tantamount to treason.

One thing I find consistently maddening with conservative arguments is how much they rely on a slippery slope. “Sure, democrats might not seem dangerous NOW but look where it will inevitably lead?!” They chastise from the cesspool gutter at the bottom of their own slope they slipped down ages ago.
