The line at the Bown library for early voting was out the door this morning. Poll admin said similar heavy voting reported this Monday at other locations in Ada County. You can bank your vote now and be sure it will be counted. Nothing better than guns and abortion (ballot measures) to drive turnout

Opening week of deer hunting season here in #Boise and Buck seeks refuge in town. The harem of does has already polished off the vegetable gardens and ornamental flowers.

Breezy sees some weird beings on our way to the trail head. #dogsofbluesky The truly scary monsters are those incompetent humans in positions of power using weapons of all kinds to kill life all over the globe. Deadly politicians!

Stingers ready? When provoked, Threatened by bully, Happy bees gather up An angry SWARM No Kings Day Oct 17 #nokings #beegrafiti Hey #Boise! Will someone please fix the smile and eyes to express our rage, add more bees?

I'm not even that big a deal on social media. I had 30k followers on X. Less than 1000 on Facebook. Only 26,000 on YouTube. It's kind of flattering that someone is going to such lengths to ban my voice, but it's going to backfire.

Doctor's orders! Liberty must die. Many women will refuse to be mid-wives for this #trumpism pregnancy. Abort! Women's bodies are not state resouces to be allocated by legislatures. #whodecides #idpol

Good morning! 🐬 We're all dealing with the fact that there currently is no heart in the White House. They're trying to kill everything that's decent about our country and its people But the true heart of America is YOU. You determine if America is still about goodness. Kindness is Resistance! 💙

The "air" we breathe today In #Boise Is not just vegetation smoke Ash of bitterbrush, sage, juniper. We now inhale human and animal remains. Our bodies will keep score, Not winning, I'm afraid. Who thinks money will buy clean air? #oneair #onewater #oneplanet

Unhealthy air outside again! Climate chaos in full swing Way too late to duck Adverse consequences Cascading #climatechaos #N95maskweather

#kincare #opioidsaftermath Our grandniece (lft) adores her uncle. His niece (rt) alerted us 12 years ago that grandniece's parents were both going to be incarcerated for drug related crimes. We sued them both and became guardians for grandniece entering the world of families who provide kin care.

"Who decides?" Most of us intend to continue making our own health and life decisions. Freedom is demanding. Don't outsource your authority. #whodecides

Both girls know the rules! No begging at the table! As if! #dogsofbluesky Soon, Breezy's girl will disappear to college again. Smoky summer inside Idaho. We need to go outside for health, but dogs get hurt breathing smoke, too. Damn the climate change deniers! #climatechange #oneair

Our adopted girls Indoors for health Smoke gets in our Eyes, lungs, hair, clothes, Hearts Ouch #biggrassfire #idahofire We'd rather be outside #dailydao

Kitchen window views: Smoke was towering Monday Hot clouds from wildfire Instead of needed rain Like towering confusion Spewing from HeWhoKnowsNot Instead of needed truth Let's damp this literal fire And that fire, too We'd rather be fighting Fires of Injustice Rain on that parade #dailydao

How well can you tolerate ambiguity? Practice with not knowing. The secret to finding meaning in chaotic times. Open to daily joy, however briefly. Dying with cancer? Start each day with a cookie, tea, dog kisses. #dogsofbluesky #tolerateambiguity #tongueouttuesday

Recent road trip took us across south Idaho, through Utah, down to Bryce Canyon National park, and on to Flagstaff, AZ where our grandkid goes to college. There was a noticeable lack of once numerous and familiar license plates from Canada on our second annual journey this year. I miss Canadians!!
