When trans creators are subtle, people dismiss the trans subtext as “headcanon.” When trans creators are loud and proud, people call it “obnoxious” and “cringe.” They just don’t want us to be represented in media at all. Because they don’t want us to exist at all.

Just sold my Thinkpad on eBay, didn't want to but really needed the money. Soooooo if you were thinking about commissioning me at all before I close commissions I could use the money to get a new one.

The most talented generational talent in the voice acting field. Literally taken way to early during his prime which is seriously just fucked up. I tend to not make many post on people passing away but this is such a major lost.

Absolutely devastating.. Eric was so kind to us, especially early in our careers. A wonderful person..

Jordan Peterson told H3 "watch out, Ethan. The people you are pandering to will turn against you!" But I honestly think ppl will still throw a stink even if he kept the weirdos from his early days.

Idk. Ppl willingly believed the Projared bs and then turned a 180 when he finally spoke with hard evidence (no apology to him or anything.) Ppl blindly defended OneyPlays even when hard evidence came out about him. The standards people have are wild.

Jokes aside, Wildwood was amazing. Laika will do fine whether the film flops or not, but it really needs to go through the circles to show what makes art Art.

I’m no political scientist just a honey badger than ran for office If you throw 1% of a marginalized group out of the voting block, the simple math shows if each member of that group even has one friend to stand with them in solidarity It’s enough to lose Democrat leaders will never learn

Unfortunately abandoning trans people is not the deal-breaker many on the left think it is as there have been no tangible consequences for Dem polticians who do it. For one thing, there aren't many trans people in the U.S. population (only 1%) so there's not a lot of backlash.

Why do we keep on doing this? Praising a 'small core team' for a game with 1100+ people in the credits is incredibly misleading. This PR narrative hurts, hides the massive shadow workforce of outsourced developers and testers, and sets impossible standards for actual indie teams.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer was made by a core team of 75 people. "What we wanted to do was keep that core small, smaller than perhaps you might have done in the past, and scale capacity and capability with what we call distributed development." https://bit.ly/4hT02qg

Porn is fiction. As long as every *real person* involved is a consenting adult, I don't gaf what's in it. It's not real. The hot stepmoms can't hurt you. This mindset is so stupid and barbaric.

Sadly this. All of these fuckin platforms have AI, but most of them at least have the good sense to keep it isolated. Twitter’s baked its AI shit into regular posts now, where anyone can just reply “Hey Grok, make her wear a see-thru bikini lmao” and create non-consensual porn. It’s *encouraged*.

At this point a lot of folks need to get comfortable accepting that it's not nostalgia that makes 'Old Thing Anazing or Important' in games (and even many movies) It's that that capitalism sick corpos that make them now are actually bad at it.

"Videogames are a young media we've learned so much, old games didn't know any better" meanwhile in 92, in a game I never heard of has the most insane level concept that we wouldn't see again until some shit like Uncharted, which would copy it with 1/10th of the gameplay youtu.be/4DuV1GNLlCY?...

Hey Danny, when people say all art is political, they're also referring to the type of bias and propaganda you're helping spread by being in the film. Hell, you insisting having bad guys you play die can be considered political. Just admit you were duped into signing a contract with The Daily Wire

Hot take: scalping retro games is fine. Anyone who's smart knows where to get the games they want for less and know the right channels to support developers who deserve their pay

It's fascinating to see leftists call other leftists nazis meanwhile the phrase "nazi/racist has no meaning anymore" is being said by literal nazi sympathizers now. No idea if trivializing the word gave real nazis ammo, but it's a sour sight to see.

I doubt people will be offended, given Bluesky's demographic, but if you deny the holocaust or some shit, I'm calling you exactly what you are. I could care less if you didn't like The Godfather or think someone is cringe

I disagree with the idea of a holocaust being good/fakr because murder is wrong, the Protocol of Zion is bogus and we have testimonies from victims, both Jewish and non-Jewish. That should be common sense. Being anti-murder should be common sense. Same goes for shit like zionism.
