Cool!

A historic day for our little city of Sarnia, Ontario, yesterday. After 38 years as our Mayor (TOO LONG!), Mike Bradley was ousted in a landslide and we now have our first female Mayor since we became a city 170 years ago! Congrats, Carrie McEachran! I'm excited for what our future holds!

Not all heroes wear capes.

An unbelievable talent.

Go, Woody!

I know we shouldn't mock the deceased but, WALTER! What were you thinking?!

Love this sign.

Awesome. Love it!

Hahahaha

And now apparently Walter Koenig has passed away at 90. All this sad news is brutal. Fly on, Mr. Chekov.

Seeing all the love for Eric Bauza's death is lovely but it doesn't male it suck less.

@jamesgunn.bsky.social is 100% right. Let the universe BE! Build it. Be organic. Do horror. Sci-Fi. Swashbuckely wacky stuff. Noir. Thrillers /Spy stuff. Light hearted super hero comedy stuff. It all exists on the page. It can exist on the screen. The thrill for us is when they cross over naturally.

This guy is one of my political heroes right now. And I'm up here in Canada.

People. Listen.

Eric Bauza... Jesus . Like our life couldn't be more grim. A man who brought so much joy. Much love to his family, his friends and his fans. This one fucking sucks.

Well, this is cool as hell.

Heh.

Drinking my 3rd coffee, surfin' the webs and listening to Stevie Wonder's 'Talking Book'. Man, what an album.

Well this is cool news if it's true! I love him in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms!

Catholic Bishops praying with a Pedo-President. You don't say.

Just voted in our municipal election here in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. We have a nightmare candidate running for Mayor - a total Trump-worshipping, racist ghoul. His supporters are loud but I have confidence that the decent people in our city will vote accordingly.

This was a good way to start my morning. Here's a little decency and humanity for you to watch. Lovely.

OMSK IS BURNING! 🔥 Ukraine has just hit the Omsk oil refinery—Russia’s largest fuel production facility, located 2500 km. away from Ukraine’s borders. This is HUGE.

So treason, right? Amerikkka is cooked.

Very cool.

Today sucks

Noooo!

Beyond scary.

This isn't just for protection of today's target of choice for right wing extremists. It also stands for real journalism and truth when other news sources are being sold like roadside beef. It should be ENOUGH to try to protect Trans voices but it also protects the rest of us. Please take a look.

Hahahaha.... brilliant.

@gailsimone.bsky.social has created one of the most terrifying characters in #XMen lore. If you haven't met Sarah Gaunt yet you need to pick up Uncanny X-Men. And it would seem she's putting together her own little team of 'Hellions' to challenge our newly christened New Mutants.

Happy 85th anniversary, Wonder Woman! "We have a saying, my people. Don’t kill if you can wound, don’t wound if you can subdue, don’t subdue if you can pacify, and don’t raise your hand at all until you’ve first extended it” (@gailsimone.bsky.social) Art by @nicolascottart.bsky.social

A little joy for your feed today.

Alright... so I posted last night about insomnia and now I'm operating, today, on about 3 hours sleep. Wish me luck.

Literally, this.

This is actually hilarious 😂 🤣 The man makes some valid points, tho Shark, at home just minding its business, then here comes this stranger

5am... and in lying here trying to sleep. Insomnia sucks.

Today is the birthday of Jerry Siegel, co-creator of Superman, who changed the pop culture landscape in a single bound. There wouldn't be a comic book business as we know it without him. We all stand on his shoulders.

Canada is leaving Starlink and will ban it in Canada “ASAP.” Not “reviewing,” not “studying options,” not “monitoring the situation.” Canada understands the danger of Elon’s partnership with Trump and Putin “deeply,” according to one

Ha! @davemitchellthree.bsky.social

GUYS! I'm back! I got a three day suspension because I suggested a certain election tampering billionaire responsible for the deaths of thousands should get a visit from a French device. Most of my posts are pretty fun and positive and nerdy or musical so I was shocked. #FuckElonMusk
