I still get goose bumps thinking about this.

Unbelievably good thread.

The Quietus is 90% funded by subscribers, and we need another 500 this spring to help us fight the AI-pocalypse – with this in mind, there's a huge sale on our top tier subscriptions. If you like what we do, here's how you can help: thequietus.com/opinion-and-...

Spells For Warding Off Evil, @plant43.bsky.social’s enveloping, unnerving, gorgeous and disconcerting album, is out today. We’re both extremely happy to share this intimate work with you. Track 6: Resisting Infernal Gravity

Get 'em!

Quite a few dates coming up over the rest of the year. Sorry Spiegel. Links here, where I have them: linktr.ee/jojohnson.ti... Hope to see you out there somewhere. Thanks to everyone who's booked me and to my friend Berytus.art for your support.

Listening party coming up for the next release on Old Technology. It's this Thursday at 7pm BST and it's for Fose by F~M. It's a deeply pleasing and really quite odd album. Deets here: old-technology.bandcamp.com/merch/fose-l...

Now Spooling Zyggurat : Sphere to Sphere New on Old Technology old-technology.bandcamp.com/album/sphere...

Loula knows!

The upcoming Mei Honeycomb album design looks and feels amazing IRL thanks to the care and artistry of Johann Kauth (who Ive been lucky enough to work with several times in the past on rushhour no label releases). The photo definitely doesn’t do it justice!

It has been brought to my attention etc etc... 3rd May at the wonderful Hare & Hounds, fist clenchers in the late afternoon with @dj-surgeon.bandcamp.com www.skiddle.com/whats-on/Bir...

It’s release day for Zyggurat - Sphere to Sphere. 7 tracks of psychedelic improv, as free as you like, recorded on the crest of the cosmic hum/deep in the woods in Shropshire. It's magnificent, emotional and moves like quicksilver. old-technology.bandcamp.com/album/sphere...

In fact, we've got FOUR (!) new releases up for preorder. www.soundohm.com/label/critiq...

We're Moonbuilding's album of the week! The British music journalist Neil Mason (NME, Electronic Sound, Melody Maker) has a pretty glowing review (with a kind of funny mention of ORI at the beginning): moonbuilding.substack.com/p/issue-99-1...

"An emotionally and musically stunning masterpiece." This month's @electronicsound.bsky.social has a really lovely interview with Raica (@chloeharris.bsky.social) and an amazing review of her Silver Threads album "If Not Now, When". So happy to see Chloe get the attention she deserves!

Now playing 👇 Releasing an album solely composed of bass and 303 duets was always going to grab my attention, but this is even better than the sum of the parts. ❤️ a real wonky treat from last year

I know it's standard promoter patter, but in this case it actually happens to be true. Do not delay, act today!

If you're in need of cheering up I strongly recommend watching this short film by the V&A featuring @plant43.bsky.social 's dad! One of the most wholesome and touching things I've seen for some time: www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXSL...

I made a music mix for the Delayed NYC mix series - The mix was born in the forests of the Carinthian Alps at the annual EndeMit festival in Koroška, Slovenia as part of a performance for the opening set on the second day of the event. Enjoy ❤️ www.delayed.nyc/delayed-blog...

Thanks a million to @electronicsound.bsky.social and Ben Murphy for featuring my music and @silver-threads.bsky.social in this months edition of their luxury magazine. I've been a wary interviewee for a long time but found chatting to Ben super relaxed and hope that comes across.
