RC wording often gets used as a permission structure. Say that B3 games shouldn't end before T6? That gives a bunch of players permission to try to end all their games exactly on T6. Remove the "few tutors" language from B2? That gives players permission to run 14 non-GC tutors, etc.

Not understanding why someone wouldn't like stax (or pretending to not understand) is soooooo much weirder than not liking stax. If you don't get that a lot of people might dislike not getting to play they game they sat to play, your brain is so smooth you could see your reflection in the surface.

I totally understand why folks love "if you do X, do X a second time" on a Cmdr. It's powerful and gives you a really clear build path. Oh boy do I hate seeing that on a card though. I realize that's prob a me thing but there's not much I like to see less on a card across the table from me.

Reminder: The Bracket system isn't like wrestling weight classes where you spit in a bottle to cut water weight so you can weigh in at 159.98 for the 160lbs and under division. If you're trying to push max power without technically going to the next Bracket you're doing it wrong and/or in bad faith.

One thing I do with decks is make every creature in the list fit the deck's theme in some way. For one it gives a deck character so I'm not just jamming Esper Sentinel into every white deck, etc. But frankly at this point with so many set coming out it just makes it easy to ignore cards.
