Und wie reagiert Landwirtschaftsminister Rainer auf die Dürre? Richtig, mit der Subventionierung von mineralischem Dünger und der Reduktion der Kraftstoffsteuer. Das ist entgegen allen wissenschaftlichen Empfehlungen u eine Verschwendung von Steuergeld. Es ist auch keine gezielte Hilfe.

(disclaimer: ich find die Gesundheitsreform überwiegend gut, bis auf den Quatsch, dass die Beamten wieder ungeschoren davon kommen. Aber die Tatsache, dass ein Expertenvorschlag im Wesentlich umgesetzt wird, ist schon erfreulich. Die Sache mit den Psycho-Praxen stand da aber nicht, drin, odr?)

Derzeit beschreibt der Plan vor allem Ziele, Programme und Instrumente, noch nicht die konkrete räumliche Umsetzung. Entscheidend wird sein, wo genau Wiederherstellung priorisiert wird, wie Nutzungskonflikte gelöst werden und welche Governance-Strukturen die Umsetzung koordinieren.

Dies gilt für die Pläne der anderen EU-Mitgliedsstaaten gleichermaßen: Die Ziele in Maßnahmen vor Ort zu übersetzen, ist die Herausforderung. Deutschland hat mit den ANK Programmen zur Auen- und Moorrenaturierung für einige Ökosysteme einen Rahmen für die Finanzierung von Maßnahmen geschaffen.

Der Plan benennt offen die Unsicherheiten - bei Finanzierung, Datengrundlagen und Verwaltungsstrukturen. Auf mich wirkt das fundierter und realistischer als ein übermäßig detaillierter Plan, der Umsetzungssicherheit suggerieren würde, die noch nicht existiert.

Office software: yes, I am addicted (using Microsoft since 35 years). Project for this year to make steps into LibreOffice. What I still need to look in: Alternatives for googledocs and google spreadsheets (still need to try alternatives like Nuclino).

Calendar: still on google, project for this year to switch to Thunderbird. I really would like to abandon AirBnB, but that’s a difficult one.

Not using paypal any more privately. Klarna instead. A bit more effort, but doable. Storage: mainly Nextcloud, some private projects I am involved in still use dropbox (I am working on this). Still a bit on whatsapp – hard to convince all groups to switch to Signal, but step by step…

These were the simple ones. The challenges: AI: I use transkribus for special purposes. Image generation: Black Forest Labs. Translation: only deepl. Problem is LLM. Professionally, I use a lot of ChatGPT Plus. Privately, I try to switch to deepseek and mistral, whenever possible.

Search engine: Ecosia (that’s an easy one). Music: only Spotify. I did not need to change. Browser: Always Firefox. I did not need to change. Same with emails (Thunderbird). Abandoned Amazon completely. Most simple, there are plenty of alternatives.
